Communicating Mood through Images: by Allison Leech

PLO: It is expected that use feelings, observation, memory, and imagination as sources for images, make 2-D, 3-D images to communicate experiences and moods.

Brainstorm with class about what a friend is, why do we need friends, and what do you do with friends and record their responses on poster paper. Each student will then trace their hand on a piece of construction paper and then write their name on it and one or two ideas from the complied list. Students will decorate their hand and then cut it out. I will attach all the hands to form a wreath and make a sign that reads, “Friendship Wreath Division _.” ~20 minutes

Materials: construction paper, coloring tools.
