resources for people learning to understand poverty and helping to alleviate it.
The website contains lots of information, is up to date, has a search
option, and has a link called “About this site”.

PovertyNet library.
Critique:
How does the website look?
-
the page does not take a long time to load
-
there are no large pictures on the page
-
the spelling on the page is correct
-
the page is easy to manipulate
-
the author’s name and e-mail address do not appear on the page
-
there are no pictures on the page that I can use to choose links
-
the information is in column on the page
-
if I go to another page there is a way to get back to the first page
-
there is a date displayed that tells you when the page was last updated
-
the photographs look real
-
there are no sounds
What did I learn?
-
I know from the title what the website is about
-
there is an introduction on the page that tells me what is included
-
the introductions to important facts are on the first page
-
there is plenty of information…perhaps an encyclopedia could provide me
with additional information
-
the information would not necessarily have been better in a n
encyclopedia
-
the author does not say anything that I would disagree with
-
the author does not include information that I know is wrong
-
the pictures and photographs on the page complement the topic on poverty
