assigned your case study and role for discussion
asked to select a research report topic

Everyone checks into MSN
Two FAMERs are available if you are having problems connecting to MSN or CORE from home. Please contact them between 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and they will do their best to walk you through any difficulties

Group Discussion of Case Studies – check your e-mail for attachments (hotmail accounts won’t get this attachment; e-mail BARB to paste a copy in for you.

Discussion Director will notify group and let them know what time the discussion will begin. Allow 1 hour for this via MSN.

Personal closure activity - Every person send Barb a short e-mail message by 3:00 p.m. on Friday Feb. 8

write 3 short paragraphs describing how you felt about:

1. Case study, 2. Technology, and 3. Being off campus.

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Committee Time for 1 hour – arrange with your group to discuss ideas on MSN, e-mail, or by phone and submit as requested.

Technology Committee

for next workshop day: set everyone in FAME up with a reputable e-mail account like interchange, aol, shaw, etc. (yahoo, hotmail and other free e-mail will still cause problems with FAME all mailing list serve. Evaluate the success of your last workshop. ). Think of other things you’d like to do with the class.

i-Movie Committee

Evaluate the success of the last workshop
for the next workshop day: Could you explore the following questions:

How are iMovies being used in classrooms to assess students, motivate students, have students show their learning, facilitate collaboration between students, etc.
What IRP learning objectives can be met using iMovies in these and other ways?

- What else could you do?

Social Committee

– Need to know what you are planning for term 2. Dates for after school nites out, etc. etc. by 3 p.m.

D.R.E.A.M. Time

The rest of the day is yours to do as you wish however every FAME student teacher needs to post a report in CORE by the due date - Friday, Feb. 22. This is an individual activity.
