| Born: August 5, 1960 (I guess I'm older than some, but younger than others) in Payson Utah. I have an older brother, two older sisters, and two younger brothers. I'm probably closest to my youngest brother and sister just older than me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Growing up: My family spent a few years in Utah, after I was born, and then Dad was transferred to a plant in Birmingham, Ala.. We lived there for a few years. I loved it there. My mother HATED it; well she hated the idea of us kids walking to school, through the wooded areas infested with copperhead snakes, cottonmouth snakes, snapping turtles, salamanders, and other 'creepies'. Our house was just off a hill, and when it would rain, it would really dump. My youngest brother and I would take the lid to the garbage cans to the top of the hill, sit in them in the gutters and have the wash push us along down the hill. Kind of like sledding in a saucer in the winter here, but it was summer there. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Dad changed jobs, and we were moved to a suburb of Chicago, Ill.. I finished grade school and up through eight grade of junior high there. I played the trumpet, sang in the choral groups in school, and I played basketball (mostly for fun). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We moved to Centerville, Ut. When I started ninth grade. It was a hard thing to ask to leave all my friends in Ill., but I quickly made new friends in Centerville. I continued to play the trumpet, but gave it up when I was in High School. I attended Viewmont High School in Bountiful, UT. I started participating in choral in High School and was chosen to sing in the 'Madrigal' group my senior year. On a dare from one of my friends, I also tried out for Rallyman (male cheerleader) and both of us made it on the squad. I met my wife-to-be in high school. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
