Drifting page 2
This is the back wheel off of my friend's '87 Acura Legend. This is the result of drifting into a square curb at 30 mph. It's crazy, and we should have flipped.  About $475 later he was a more cautious drifter but he still can't get enough.  I (Charlie) had a simlar experience, but it happened to the front of my car.  I took a very tight 90 degree turn with to much speed and bald tires, and hit a square curb.  I put $600 under that corner (bent the front crosmember and lots of other stuff) and 250 on new Pirelli tires. The moral of this story is be careful, and if you do hit a curb sideways plan on replacing all of the suspension on that corner.
As you can see here, our incidents could have been worse.
One of our friends, Dave, has a car very similar to this one, which he is currently working on. Once it is finished, you will hear more about it.
(Dave is a fellow Kanpai of Tokyo employee)
"The Snake Pit" ??? We can only imagine what happens here.
