| History/Intro I bought my car in May of 2000 it was in excilent condition and only had 80 thousand miles. I paid about 8000 after the dealership got done with me probubly a little to much but it has been great. I paid for it over the past 2 or 3 years and then finally paid it off with 100 thousand miles on it on Jully 31, 02 (my birthday (19)). I also lost my girlfriend of 3 years and that gave me even more money to do random stuff to my beloved Prelude. |

| Specs for the 91 Si Sadly an automatic (Still fast) DOHC 2.1 Litre 4 cylender of course 140 hp at the crank Chris at Honda Prelude.com tested it stock and it has about 110 hp at the wheels. Hard to find parts for a third generation Custom intake with Ractive filter Moved the batery to the trunk to make room for the intake and it sounds awesome. Just put an awesome looking muffler on it but it is really loud. In Tennessee most mufler shops don't put catalytic converters back on all I put on was a 28 inch Chrerry Bomb (Glasspack) and a free flowing Muffler along with 2.5 inch piping from the heders back. basicly if you straightened out all of the bends then you could see all the way into the combustion chambers. Very fast if you don't mind the noise. I also took out my AC compressor (about 30 lbs and drag on the engine ) I think it runs better but it is probubly all in my head. ??? |
