Animals

There are many characteristics that make animals unique to the rest of the kingdoms.

They are multi cellular, with specialized organs. For example, fish have gills that help them breathe under water.

They are heterotrophic, which means they cannot make their own food.

Most are motile at some point in their life, which means that they can move spontaneously at some time in their life.
