| my left hand. (i'm typing this with one hand, so sorry for the errors >:) ) last friday March 5 around 3:00pm i was about to sharpen my color pencils, when suddenly my cutter (that was made out of metal and had quite some weight, and the blade was brand new) slipped in my right hand and slashed my wrist (not my pulse). !!!DO NOT READ IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE MOVIE "KILL BILL"! i didn't felt anything, nothing hurt, and suddenly it opened! there was no blood. what i saw was all the layers in my skin. like i was drawing it in cross section. it was all red an it was if it had different skin tones in there... and i also saw my bone. i didnt realize it but that pearly white stuff was my hardcore bone! i sat down, i thinked. i texted my girlfriend i Love her so much but i didn't tell her that at that moment i was almost bleeding to death. i almost grabbed my cfad uniform but then i figured it's blood so it might stay there as stain. i stood up and got my black hanky. i used my right arm and teeth to knot it and apply some pressure. i walked a little in my room. i figured, "hey! blood! huge amount, will i still make it if i paint a this moment with my blood? >:)" well i do some artworks with my blood but then i figured this is serious. i cracked my knuckeles at my wounded and bleeding left arm. i went to my eldest sis, she was the only onei could tell... she rushed to me and we walked at the nearby hospital. turns out, i cut not only mylayers in th skin but also my ligament or tendons that make my thumb and pointing finger function. i was rushed at st. jude hospital and at 8:30pm i was in a major surgery. it was finished at around 3:00am i spent 4 days in the hospital. but im fine now! well okay, my hand really didn't got cut-off but almost! and thank god it's at the left! otherwise i wouldn't be able to draw indie comics or paint! no more SATANHIGH or BLACKROSE sequels! no i have this cast and arm band in my left, i look like a freaking disabled artist, like a foot or mouth painter. those guys are great too! but think i'll stick with my hands... for now. >:) lesson? dont get slahed by a cutter when your finals is coming! damn mixed mdedia! >:) will i ever use the same cutter or any cutter for that matter? geeze why not!? i'm using it right now. >:) i really have no interest in pencil sharpeners, even if i got cut again i'd still use cutters. whats in the hospital menu? nice meal! i even had lechon kawali! can i still play fist of the northstar? i'll try. what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger. so i'll still be drawing un-mangas and indies paintings even if i have this cast. this is a lesson to learn so you guys should take it easy and hope that it's not your good arm. >:) ~Anonymous? |
