The Carrington Mansion
It was a late evening hour in Denver. Krystle was still sitting at the dinner table, waiting for Blake. She had been trying to call him several times in the last hour, but his cell phone was turned off. His secretary had told her that Blake left the office early what caused Krystle to get worry even more. She wanted to call Fallon or Amanda and ask them if they knew where he was, but she heard from Gerard that the two sisters were spending the evening with Miles and Jeff at La Mirage. She didnt want to disturb them. Amanda and Fallon never got along, and if they finally were sitting together over dinner, she didnt want to ruin that, whatever it was. When Blake got home finally, he found her sleeping on the sofa at the living room. He kissed her gently on the lips. Krystle opened her eyes. Blake!, Where have you been?! She asked, relieved to see him. At the police station. He answered. I was so worried. Your cell phone was closed and no one knew where you were. Im sorry, darling. I was about to call you and let you know that Id be late, when Chief Monroe arrived to the station with some new information. What information? She was curious now. Apparently Adam left Denver already one hour after he escaped from the clinic. The police believe somebody from inside the institution helped him escape and took him to the airport to catch a flight to Montana. So hes probably at Danas? Krystle asked with hope in her voice.
Possible. I called at her place, but nobody answered there. The local police is on the way to her apartment now. Oh Blake, I hope theyll find him safe and sound. Me too, sweetheart, me too. Blake hugged her when the phone rang. Krystle picked it up, expecting a call from the police. Hello? Hello, Krystle. I hope it is not too late? A female voice answered. Georgia?! Krystle wondered and looked at Blake who was surprised too. It was passed eleven p.m. already. Yes, Im sorry for the time, but I wanted to tell you the news. What news? Something happened? Well, yes. I finished the book. I think you and your husband will find it very interesting. Really? Krystle looked at Blake. What? He wondered. Georgia, my husband is next to me, would you mind if I put you on speaker? No, of course not. Lindsay said. Krystle put down the tube and turn on the speaker. Can you repeat it again, Georgia? For Blake? Krystle asked her. I just said I finished the book about the consortium. I guess Krystle told you about that, Mr. Carrington? She hadnt met Blake since her return to Denver. She couldnt even remember when she last saw him as a child. Yes, she did. Im sorry I didnt have the time to meet you, but Krystle kept me update. Blake said. Im glad. As a matter a fact I just told Krystle I found out some interested information about the consortium that is the reason Im calling, to invite you for a dinner tomorrow. Dinner? Krystle asked. Yes, this way I could meet Mr. Carrington and give you the book. Im sure youll find some very interesting things about this group. She said, hoping Blake and Krystle wouldnt refuse her invitation. Well Blake was about to say no, but Krystle interfered into the conversation. Well be happy to see you, Georgia. She said and Blake gave her a hard look. He wasnt happy with it. He hadnt time for this now. Adam was still missing; Krystina was still living with Sammy Jo and involved with Kyle; and the police was finally after the consortium again or at least investigating again who helped Adam escape from the clinic. Blake was absolutely sure the person who helped him was somehow connected to the consortium. Great. Eight oclock at La Mirage is fine with you? Lindsay asked. Krystle looked at Blake. She knew he didnt like the idea. She could see it by the look on his face. All right, well be there, Georgia. So see you then. Good night. Good night. Krystle answered and turn off the speaker. Now I know what youre about to say ... She turned to Blake. I not even know this woman. So its time youll meet her. She knows something, Blake. She can help us finding the truth! I dont know about that, Krystle. With all whats going on with Adam now Adam will be fine. Im sure the police will find him at Danas. And if you really believe the consortium helped him running off from the clinic, maybe Georgia can help us. I hope you are right. We know nothing about this woman. Well I guess well know more by tomorrow. I guess so. Blake answered. Okay, so one private dining room for tomorrows evening. Yes, table for three. Thank you very much. Good night. Lindsay hung up the phone. Perfect. Tomorrow you finally going to pay for everything you did. She said to herself and pulled a photo of Claudia from the drawer. The justice will be finally done, mother after all those years. They are finally going to pay for what they did to you and to daddy ![]()
