^.^ Welcome to the land of Kodomo no Omocha, otherwise known as Kodocha, or Child's Toy. The story is simple enough. There's this girl, She meets this guy. She thinks he's an annoying monkey boss. He thinks she's a spoiled brat. Until he stared liking her...until she started liking him. *group sigh* HA! You thought it was a love story didn't ya? Well, you couldn't have been more...correct... ^^ Kodocha revolves around a love story that's tossed and turned through lone wolves and leopard cries. Of course, Kodocha also revolves around 'don't be drinking anything while you watch this or else you'll be sorry' nonsense.
Kurata Sana is a child star who has her own show that everyone adores. Sana is cheerful, extremely opimistic and appear to be problem free. That is, until the fateful day when she met Hayama Akito, the calm, cool, shrewd yet nonchalant boy that literally turned her world upside down. Somewhere between threats and blackmailing, Hayama begin to like Sana; who in turn, is much too innocent to see his love for her until that other fateful day when it finally dawned on her too. The show follows their developement along with Sana's life in school and on the TV set. If for whatever reason you are expecting Kodocha to be a sappy love story, you are completely wrong. If there is one set of adjectives to describe KNO, it would be : crazy, insane, high on sugar, high on caffeine, high on sugar and caffeine! The antics are neverending in this show, much credit to Sana's hyper attitude and the VERY amusing supporting characters (who's your mama??). Overall, in order to get through this show, you must be able to endure laughing till your stomach hurts, awwwing till your mother calls your doctor, crying till you can't see the computer screen, and getting obsessed like you never have before! :)
