In the quiet little village of gloin, the villagers went about their quaint ways and enjoyed a traditional lifestyle, the women would cook and clean the homes, and the men would hunt and protect the village. The odd exceptions were Kelly and Kristina, sisters whose father had been killed in a dispute when they were younger, now they were 18 and fully fledged hunters; they were skilled with bows, arrows, knives and guns.
They were accepted as women but allowed to be crude when in company of the other hunters. The main hunter was a man called Ben; he was descended from a family of hunters and was very muscled and strong. He had the attention of all of the young girls in the village but had his sights set on Kelly and Kristina.
Never had he seen women so graceful and beautiful, but when called upon could be more violent than a bear with a hernia and so dedicated to the kill, they would chase an animal for miles if they knew they could kill it. Yes those two were destined to be his wife's, or so he thought.

As the new moon filled the sky, the villagers all sat round an open fire in the middle of the land, the oldest member of the village stepped forward. He sprinkled sand onto the fire and began the tale of a prince who was bitten by a werewolf and never seen again, he told the cautionary tale of going out into the woods at night when the moon is full and the night is still. The smaller children huddled next to their parents, taking in every word and fearing for their lives that night when they slept, the older children listened carefully to hear all of the gory bits to re-enact the next day. And the parents and the elders sat and smiled as they observed the scared faces of the children, Ben looked over at Kristina and Kelly who were busy giggling at the fanciful tales and secretly wishing they could bring down a werewolf and heave its carcass to the village square and claim the prestigious hunter of the year award and have tales told about them.

The night crept on and finally everyone retired to bed, Kristina and Kelly both thought they heard a distant howl, Ben assured them that everything was fine and that if they were scared they could stay at his house, although he was very handsome he was also very transparent. They declined his offer and walked towards their own house. As they opened the front door the family great Dane cowered in a corner. Kelly tried to calm the dog down, but the dog was terrified.
Kristina pleaded with her mother to allow the dog to sleep in the house for that night and exhausted the mother agreed. Kelly and Kristina both dreamt about the story they had been told and questioned its factual content. They dreamt of pulling down the great beast and discovering all of the secrets of a real lycanthrope, they awoke to hear a squealing sound, they ran to their bedroom window and looked outside, it was foggy and their vision was blurred, they saw nothing and went back to bed.

The next morning found a huddle of petrified sheep in a corner and pieces of sheep's blood and entrails in a big spread over the field, the farmer could not come to terms wit what had happened, nothing had ever attacked his sheep before with such ferocity. The elder came to see what had happened and told the startled farmer that his flock had been attacked by a werewolf, the villagers did not believe the old man till he pulled a large tooth from a carcass, it was too big to be from any bear and the locals were forced to believe.
That night all of the live stock were put away and the hunters were on full alert, they took times to sleep and times to watch, no-one saw anything and nothing eventful happened that night, they kept the watch up for 5 days to try and catch the beast, a few sheep disappeared now and again, but no-one saw a thing.
A week had passed and everyone was dismissing the claims and went back to normal life again. The elder warned that a villager would probably be the next victim, but they laughed and branded him insane.
As the next moon arose a deep throated howling could be heard, the villagers put their children to bed and put away their animals. Kelly and Kristina did a quick perimeter check before they went home and settled down with their knives at the ready.

A young girl who had stayed late at a boys house that she had been courting, tried in vain to slip back into her house, she heard a growling behind her but thought it was a guard dog, as the hissing breath got closer and closer, she turned around and came face to face with a bloody snout, it ripped at her clothes and cut her stomach and arm, *bang* Kelly's gun fired a bullet *bang* Kristina's fired shortly after, both bullets pierced the wolfs hairy exterior and it ran away. As Kristina and Kelly attended to the wounds of the injured girl, the rest of the locals were in a state of panic, Kelly and Kristina both gave descriptions of the beast and Ben decided he would go out and hunt the creature.
The sisters sat Ben down and explained to him the enormity of the problem and that he was going to need serious re- enforcements, he listened closely and gathered his best men together, including Kristina and Kelly and set out into the forest looking for the werewolf. They followed some tracks and bloodied trees and found a dead end, they kept looking though as every once and a while a hunter would see something run across a clearing. Ben separated everyone and gave him or her directions to go in, they walked around most of the night.
