"Are you ok?" Kian said looking at her. He wanted to say something back but he couldn't stay apathetic to her.
Everything that had happened was moving fast in his head. How he met her and how pretty she looked. Their first date and that conversation about the poor cow. The first time they were together. His reaction when he heard someone dared to hurt her. And how she looked, laying there bleeding in the middle of the living room... How dared that son of a bitch Gary touch her?
And suddenly it was all clear to Kian. It was like someone lit up a light bulb above his head and he finally realized what he wanted.
"Yeah I'm�I'm fine" she said breathing heavily.
"Relax" he said sitting next to her and wrapping his arms around her, hugging her tightly. "I wasn't playing Superman" he whispered. "Your friend Kelly came and told me that son of a bitch is hurting you and I just�I couldn't let him hurt you. I don't even care if he could've shot me and even if he would've, I couldn't care less"
"What are you saying? That you're willing to die for me?" Alex said looking up at him.
"Yes. I'd say that, yes." She looked at him wide-eyed. "No one ever meant so much to me�I can help you�if you just let me"
"Please do" she closed her eyes. "I can't live like that anymore�I want to be with you, full time. And I don't want to be afraid of anyone anymore"
"Then it's a done deal. That ass ain't getting any near you again, I promise." As he started to kiss her for what looked like forever until they had to pull away in order to breathe.
"I'm starting to feel bad again" Alex said.
"C'mon, I'm taking you back to the hospital"
"But�"
"No buts, c'mon" he said pulling her after him as they left the dorms.
10 Months Later
"Alright y'all" Kian said sitting down on a stool on stage in Dublin's The Point theatre. It was Westlife's 'Welcome Back' concert.
He played a few chords on his acoustic guitar. "I'm gonna a sing a song now that I wrote last year while Westlife were taking a year off. I wrote it to a very special person that I've met during that year�" as he started singing while playing the guitar.

The audience was going out of its way screaming that the roof nearly did fly off, but for real.
"That was dead wicked mate!" Shane said patting Kian's back as he went backstage.
"Yeah, brilliant song! Without a doubt going on our next album!" Bryan said.
"And you're going to sing it all by yourself, Shane will do your background voices" Mark said as Kian laughed.
"Good to be back, isn't it?" Nicky said looking behind the curtains at the packed Point theatre.
"Yeah" Kian smiled. "Although I must say I'll miss college a bit"
"I wonder why" Shane said.
"Yeah, he doesn't want to be away from his dear Alex" Bryan said mockingly and everyone but Kian burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" a voice from behind them said.
"Damn, oh, hey Alex" Bryan said smiling innocently.
"Drop the fake smile McFadden, I heard you" she said as she went over to Kian and kissed him. "You can say whatever you want, I don't care, not as long as I've got this" she said showing off a diamond ring.
They all raised their eyebrows at her.
"Ok people," Nicky said pulling out a small notebook. "I'm taking bets on how long their marriage are going to last, who's in?"
