Alex woke up a few hours later. She reached over to Kian's gold Rolex watch that was on the nightstand and looked at the time. 3am. 'I better go' she thought. She got up quietly and quickly got dressed. 5 minutes later she was already on her way out of the room, leaving some money under the Rolex watch so Kian won't have to pay for the room all by himself. 'I should leave a note' she thought as she walked to the other side of the room to see a pen and a few papers with the hotel's name on them. She sat down and started writing.
Kian,
I had to rush off back home. I'm sorry I had to leave so soon.
Hope you won't get mad and I hope I can go out with you again, I really had fun tonight.

She looked at it a few minutes and then folded it and stuffed it into an envelope. Then she wrote Kian on it and put it under the money on the nightstand. "Bye Kian" she said as she lightly kissed his forehead and then turned to leave the room.
"Alex!" she heard someone calling her name later on that day when she was at the parking lot on her way to her car. "Alex!!" she turned around to see Kian running to her direction.
"Hey" she said when he finally reached where she was standing at.
"Why did you leave so quickly?" he asked looking at her dead in the eyes.
"I had to go�you know cos my parents would've flipped if I wouldn't have came back till the morning. They'd probably think someone kidnapped me and murdered me and cut me into little pieces and -"
"Alex!" he stopped her. "It's ok, I believe you" he smiled at her and kissed her deeply. "It wasn't fun waking up without you there"
"Wanted another ride, eh?" she laughed and kissed him.
"Yeah" he smiled his charming Irish smile.
"Well I gotta go now" she said placing another kiss on his lips. "I really had a good time last night"
"Me too"
"So I'll see you tomorrow in class?"
"Yeah" Kian said smiling as Alex walked to her car, unlocked the door and went inside.
"Bye" she said smiling as she closed the door and started up the engine.
"Bye" Kian said and she drove off.
Alex walked into her house that day, tired as hell. She closed the door behind her, leaning on it and closing her eyes. Thinking of what happened last night. She definitely, without a doubt, wanted a repeat. Hell she NEEDED a repeat. She didn't even care to go on that stupid conversation about the poor cow again. As long as she'll have him again, by her side. Kissing her. Hugging her. Making love to her. Just caring about her. Treating her like a human being. "Alex! Where the fuck have you been?" a tall brown haired guy said skipping down the steps from the second floor. He approached her and had an evil spark in his black eyes.
"School? You know college? Going to do something with my life like you -"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" he roared grabbing onto her arm.
"Gary you're hurting me" Alex whispered but he ignored her.
"I meant last night when I was at my mother's, where have you been? I came home at 10 o'clock and you weren't here!"
"I went out" she said with such a weak whisper it was barely heard.
"Out? Where? With who? Kelly was right there with me"
"With my cousin Nichole" Alex answered.
"Right�" Gary said narrowing his eyes at her. "So you've got an alibi�"
"Of course I've got an alibi! My cousin's in town for once in like, ever, sure I'd go out with her! You know this is not jail and I am not your prisoner so you can't tell me what to do!" she said as she released herself from his grip and marched upstairs.
"Ello! Ello!" Kelly said as she entered Alex's house, finding her laying on the couch in the living room with her eyes closed. "You asleep?" she said looking at Alex.
"No" Alex whispered.
"Another tackle with Gary?"
"Just about" Alex said sitting up and opening her eyes. "I ran upstairs before he had the chance to -" she said not even ending her sentence. Tears began to float her eyes but she fought them.
"What really happened last night?" Kelly asked sitting down next to Alex and hugging her. "You didn't go out with your cousin, did you?"
"No.."
"With who then?"
"Kian" Alex said closing her eyes again, his image floating in her mind and she smiled.
"Oh, it's a guy, isn't it?"
"What do you think?" Alex asked looking at her.
"I don't know, sound kind of girlie�Kian�"
"Yes it's a guy. Irish one"
"Oh that's good. The Irish lads are always the sweetest."
"Oh yes, damn it he is. He's so sweet."
"Something happened?"
"No he's just my friend you know I'd never cheat on-"
"Alexandra Elizabeth James, I know you. And heck if I was married to such a low-life scum like my brother, I'd cheat on him as well!" Kelly said.
"We slept together" Alex whispered.
"Oh you go girl! Was he any good?" as Alex bust out laughing.
"He was great�a sex God, I can tell you this!"
"Oh, then can I have a ride on him once you're done with him?"
"No, he's mine! So mine." Alex said smiling but then her face suddenly went serious again. "Would you please keep covering for me?"
"Does he really make you happy?"
"Yes he does�"
"Ok" Kelly sighted. "On two conditions"
"Ok, bring it on!" Alex laughed.
"One, you don't go out with him every night and when you do you have to help me find a way to keep Gary busy so he won't notice you're gone and two�"
"Yes?"
"You have to tell me every God damn juicy detail!"
