"Watch where you're fucking going!" she said and then looked up. She gasped. A blond, blue-eyed lad was standing there apologizing none stop.
"I'm sorry�I really am�here, let me help you" the guy said as he bent down to help her pick up her stuff. "Kian. Kian Egan" he smiled at her.
"Alex. Alexandra James" she said, quickly taking a ring off her finger and offered her hand to shake his.
"Sweet name" Kian smiled.
"Yours too�Irish, isn't it?" Alex said smiling.
"Yeah�Well I'd love to stay and chat but I really have to get going, my class started 15 minutes ago!"
"Ok" Alex smiled. "So�I'll see you around?"
"Yeah, you betcha" Kian said and got up on his feet and started running again.
"Wow" Alex said as he went out of sight. "That guy is HOT!! God�what am I going to do with this?" she said taking out the ring she hid earlier. "Damn"
"Alex! Alex!!!!!" Kelly, Alex's best friend shouted after her as Alex was on her way into class.
"What?" Alex turned around.
"Al�Alex�Gary is here" Kelly said as she came running to her.
"Gary? Oh shit! What the fuck is he doing here?"
"I don't fucking know but he's looking for you and you know he'll make a fuss if you won't go over there"
"Kelly, I have a class now"
"Alex, it's Gary we're talking about here, do you think he gives a damn?"
"No" Alex said quietly.
"Look, I know my brother and I know damn well how he's like�just go"
"Ok, ok!" Alex said heading to the building's exit.
"Oh hey again"
Alex looked up. It was that guy that bumped into her earlier that day. He was standing a few steps above her in the entrance to the lectures hall. "Kian" she smiled.
"Alex, right?" he asked giving her a charming smile.
"Yeah" she smiled.
"Listen�um�I don't normally do this but�do you want to go out with me? Like tonight or something? Maybe show me around because I've only been here in Manchester a few times because of work and never got to see the city itself, and stuff�" he gave her another charming smile.
"Um�yeah�ok, sure, I'll show you around" she smiled.
"So it's a date then?" Kian asked.
"Yeah, it's a date" as Kian winked at her and went to find a seat.
"Kelly!" Alex ran to her best friend. "Kelly I need your help"
"With what?" Kelly asked, raising her eyebrows.
"I need you to keep your brother damn busy tonight"
"Why?"
"Cos I need to go out tonight with my cousin and I know he'll never let me go"
Kelly looked at Alex that had her puppy dog look all geared up. "Ok" she sighed. "Ok�I'll get mum to invite him over for dinner�you know my mum can't really stand you so he won't wonder how come you're not invited"
"Yeah�good idea! See that's why you're my best friend"
"You mean that's why you're paying me to be your best friend"
"Yeah, whatever!"
