They slowed down as they reached the traffic lights. Mark slid his hand firmly over Debs.
"Well you don't have to worry about money any more I hope ye realise, if you ever need anything you just let me know alright?"
Deb smiled awkwardly.
"That's a really generous offer but im not having people saying im a gold digger aswell, it's going to be bad enough."
"No they won't. Stop worrying about it. Anyway the guys are really looking forward to meeting you tonight!"
Mark beamed, changing the subject. Deb gasped as she suddenly remembered.
"Oh shit Lusia's text."
"Ye what?" Mark asked, as his strong Irish accent became more obvious.
"She text me a while ago asking if we could do something tonight because we haven't seen each other for ages. Oh god Mark I feel awful." Deb groaned as she turned her gaze to the tinted window.
"Well that ain't a problem, just bring her with ye tonight, I'm sure the lads won't mind!"
Mark chuckled he steered the, both around a corner.
"That would be wicked. You'll love Lusia when you meet her, she's a nutter like me!"
Deb grinned as she placed her hand on the inside of his thigh.
Mark sighed in pretend mockery as he tried to keep his concentration on the long road stretched in front of them, instead of Deb's burning touch. A teasing glint gave Deb the hint that he was only messing.
"You shut up, she's lovely and bloody gorgeous n all."
"How old is she?" he asked as he pulled expertly into a parking space.
"Twenty four," Deb answered as she unbuckled her seatbelt and looked around them. "Mark where are we?"
He grinned at her with a boyish smile.
"MegaBowl!" He replied proudly as he grabbed his small sports bag off the floor of the car.
He frowned as he saw Deb's face screw up in disapproval.
"Whats wrong with Megabowl?" He asked worriedly, as he checked he had everything with him.
"I'm no good with balls," she said innocently, her large eyes gazing sorrowfully up at him.
"Oh but babe, you are!"
He replied with a wink and a cheeky smirk. "Trust me on that one!"
"Wipe that dirty smirk off your gorgeous face and behave yourself Mr Feehily."
Deb shot back with a teasing smile. "Mark?"
"Yeah?" He said as his eyes stared lustfully into hers.
"I."
"I what?"
He questioned as he checked his pop star reflection in the car mirror.
"I, really hope we don't get mobbed by all your little girlie fans here," Deb lied as she tried to control the wild blush forming on her face.
Missing the point, Mark laughed and patted his denim jacket problem.
"We have got one side of the whole building centre to ourselves babe, so it won't really be a problem."
"Oh right," Deb mumbled as they both exited the car. "Stupid, stupid, stupid woman!"
She cursed herself under her breath. If she wasn't more careful she was going to send this bloke running, and that was not something she wanted to let happen.
"Are you sure about this Deb?" Lusia hissed under her breath as they both waited patiently outside Shane's new house later on that night.
"Lusia, stop worrying ok? Where the hell has Mark got to anyway?"
Deb huffed as she gazed around the darkness.
"Right here sexy," he growled as he sneaked up behind her and slid his arms around her bare waist.
"Oh how nice of you to join us," Lusia said as she rolled her dark blue eyes upwards. "I mean you only left me, who is virtually a complete stranger to you, on the door step to one of the most fittest, I mean one of the most famous blokes ever. I mean not that he isn't fit."
"Lusia," Deb said with a sickly smile on her face as she felt Mark's chest vibrating against her back with laughter.
"What?" Lusia blinked as she stared at the happy couple.
"Shut the fuck up girl!"
Deb's lightly made up face broke into a teasing grin.
"I can't help it, I'm bloody nervous," Lusia sighed as she pulled out her mirror to glance at her reflection. "An Deb, I swear if you even think about giving away the slightest hint of, well, you know what, then."
The petite blond suddenly clamped her mouth shut as the door finally began to open. With a wicked gleam in her hazel eyes, Mark pushed Deb forwards towards Shane.
"Don't worry Lusia, I promise not to even mention the fact that you think Shane is the most gorgeous thing you've ever laid eyes on, and I also promise not to mention the fact you reckon he's got the biggest dick you've ever laid your eyes on aswell, and I especially promise not to mention the fact you yourself would love to lay on top of him, ok?"
With that Deb sailed breezily in, trying not to explode into a fit of giggles as Shane's mouth fell open.
"Fuckin' cow," Lusia mumbled under her breath as she stayed rooted to the spot, not being able to believe her so called best friend had just done that.
"Er, wanna come in?" Shane said nervously, his face burning as red as Lusia's.
"Yeah I guess."
She strode past Shane and went towards the direction where already Deb's mad laugher was coming from.
"Oh god, she's a brilliant craic," Kian told Mark as they stood in the hallway, watching Deb entertain the other two lads two hours later.
"Yeah she is," Mark replied with a dreamy smile on his face. "You wouldn't think she's thirty three would ye?"
Kian choked on the sip of beer he had just taken.
"Thirty three?" He spluttered. "Mark are ye fuckin' crazy man?"
"Ye wouldn't think she's married to a bastard aswell, would ye?"
Still the soppy expression was all over his face as he watched Deb's every crazy movement.
"Married?" Kian croaked, his crystal blue eyes widening.
"Kino, did I mention the fact she has got the coolest six year old dude I have ever met?"
Mark's lovesick face broke into a smile as he leant his head against the stair banister.
"She's got a kid? Oh god."
Kian gasped heavily and took another sip from his can. "What the hell are ye like Feehily."
Mark turned around to face his best friend.
"You wanna know something Kian?"
"What's that? No hang on, let me guess, she's also got another baby on the way, or, she's a transvestite," Kian paused in the middle as Mark's fist playfully met Kian's muscular chest.
"Enough of that Ego head," Mark said, but with a warning note held to his voice.
"Your right I'm sorry, anyway what was it ye were going to say?"
Kian followed Mark's long stare into the living room, where Deb sat seated on the floor next to Bryan who was in the process of trying to lift Nicky off the floor through his apparent, 'Mystical Powers.' Her honey blond hair hung freely around her face, crowning her head in a golden glow. Very natural make up, accentuated the deep colour and size of her stunning eyes, and a slick of clear lip gloss kept catching in the light.
"Hello, earth to Mark? Hello?"
Kian sighed, as he waved his hand in front of Mark's face.
"Sorry!"
Mark chuckled as he began to walk into the kitchen, Kian in suit.
As the two young lads grabbed another beer each out of Shane's fridge, Mark froze when he heard a small bang.
"Did you just hear that Ki?" He asked as he leant back up and moved his dark head onto one side.
"Hear what?"
"Oh nothing," Mark sighed, making his way over to the small breakfast table.
He jumped again as he heard the slight rattle of something, but then followed through with silence. Kian stared at his friend as he opened his third can of beer.
"Anyway, that thing I wanted to tell ye, I seriously think, WHAT THE?"
Mark yelped as he heard another large crash followed by the banging of a saucepan rattling away on the floor.
"It's coming from there," Kian stated, pointing his slim arm towards the pantry door.
"Hang on, dya reckon it's some fans hiding in there pissing about?" Mark whispered, a look of uncertainty spreading across his aqua coloured eyes.
"I dunno?" Kian whispered back, non-helpfully.
Suddenly they were interrupted as the pantry door came flying off in one direction, followed by a very naked Shane and Lusia in the opposite.
"Oh my fuckin' god," Kian screamed in laughter as he stood breaking up into hysterics at the sight of Shane lying on the cold floor with Lusia.
"What's goin' on ye lot?" Nicky asked as he strolled casually into the kitchen, followed by everyone else.
He gasped as his hand rose to his cute mouth, before erupting into a fit of giggles. By this time Shane had managed to drag the wooden door over his and Lusia's naked bodies.
Lusia's head was buried into Shane's shoulder as she refused to look at anyone. Despite the fact her curly blond hair was shielding her gorgeous face, the fact she was about dead from embarrassment only stirred the guys up more.
"Right guys, out of here NOW," Shane tried to tell them as Deb and Bryan walked in with a horrified look on their faces.
After the initial shock, Deb soon began to smirk at a still hiding Lusia.
"Come on girl, show ya face," Deb cried as she walked towards the naked couple and brushed back all of her blond hair from her red face.
"Deb, fuck the hell off!" Lusia muttered, her cheeks flaming as her hands flew up to cover her face.
Bryan by now was laughing so hard he accidentally fell over, crashing onto the floor in the direction of Shane and Lusia.
"Bry watch it," Shane yelled before his massive friend fell straight on top of them, splitting the door in two.
Mark was standing there with his mouth hanging open still, whilest Deb walked over to him and whispered something into his ear. Suddenly his hypnotising blue eyes sprang to life as he turned and walked over to the cupboard. Claiming the black object from the inserted shelf, Nicky, Bryan and Kian all howled in laughter as Deb suddenly marched straight towards them, snapping away on a digital camera unaware to Shane and Lusia.
"Hey you two?" Deb called, her face spread with a cheeky smirk.
"Say sex!"
She grinned as they both looked up with absolutely horrified expressions!
The next morning Lusia strolled into Deb's room with the early morning paper. Still dressed in her pyjama's, she crawled into bed next to her best friend and began to wake her up.
"Deb, wake up!" Lusia said groggily as she noticed a glass of freezing cold water on the table next to the bed.
Feeling her lips curve into a sweet smile, she quietly picked up the glass and held it raised above her victims head.
"One, two," Lusia whispered softly to herself, with a naughty smirk.
"Don't even think about it."
Deb warned as she opened her hazel eye and stared at her best friend with a teasing glint. "Wotch ya got the paper for anyway?" She mumbled as she stretched her body out under the covers.
"You and your toy boy made headline news!" Lusia replied as she showed Deb the front of the paper.
"Oh my god."
Deb gasped as her eyes shot frantically over the paper.
"I know, are you alright?" Lusia said, concerned.
"That has to be the most disgusting picture of me I've ever seen in my life." Deb declared angrily as she scanned the room for her mobile phone.
Having not paid at least one bit of attention to the content of the text, she instantly dialled Mark's number and asked Lusia to nip downstairs and make them both a hot cupper.
"Morning gorgeous," Mark's sleep filled voice murmured huskily down the phone.
"It's disgusting Mark, I'm not having it," Deb cried into the phone as soon as she heard him speak.
"What? What is?" Mark asked as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and gradually began to open them.
"Our photograph in the paper, it's bloody awful of me. Can we sue them? I wanna sue them?"
Deb continued hurriedly as she waited impatiently for her drink.
"Don't be daft Deb, course we can't sue them. Right I'm awake now so when I get dressed and have seen it, I'll give ye a call back ok?"
Deb began to nod head blond head softly in reply. Suddenly realising he couldn't hear her nodding her head, she blushed.
"Ok babe, sorry to wake ya, I've never made front page before."
"Well start getting used to it sexy because they're going to use anything possible they can."
Mark informed his girlfriend before saying their goodbyes and hanging up.
"God Deb have you actually read any of this?" Lusia asked as she took a slow sip from her coffee a few minutes later.
"No because I ain't interested," Deb replied as she continued to flick through her women's magazine.
"Mark Feehily was snapped outside MegaBowl with a mysterious older woman. Holding hands and continuously gazing into each other's eyes for most of their fun afternoon out, it was clear to the photographer and everyone around them, that they were more than just friends. The woman, who we are assuming is Mark's first official girlfriend is a Mrs Debra Wigg, aged 33 with a six year old son. She has recently separated from her three year relationship with husband Michael Wigg, who is at present on holiday with his new model girlfriend and his son. They will be due back in over one and a half weeks time. We have yet to have confirmation from Westlife's gorgeous member Mark as to if she is his actual girlfriend or not. However signs indicate that they are, thus shattering millions of teenage girls dreams all over the world."
"Fuckin' pathetic," Deb sighed as she turned to face Lusia. "I wonder when the hate mail will start?"
Lusia tutted. "Don't be stupid, if you do get any it will only be from jealous little teenage bitches, so don't worry about. It's because you've got the thing they have spent years trying to just see in flesh, let alone be with!"
"Yeah your right!"
Deb grinned. "Anyway, fancy going out and getting absolutely slaughtered tonight with Mark and Shane?"
At the mention of his name, Lusia's cheeks went flaming red.
"Oh god Lusia, I've never seen anything so funny in all my life," Deb began to giggle.
"Don't remind me, I'll never be able to face them again."
"Now your being a fool, they've seen ya in your birthday suit now, look at it this way, you couldn't possibly embarrass yaself any more in front of the five most gorgeous blokes in the world!"
As she saw the funnier side to it, Lusia soon broke into a fit of laughing beside her best friend. Ten minutes later they were still laughing heavily at the memories, when the ringing of Deb's suddenly stopped them mobile. Glancing down at the caller Id, she smiled as she saw it was Mark.
"Well who else would it be ya daft cow!"
Lusia teased as she read her friend's mind.
"Shut it!" she replied before answering with a huge smile on her bare face.
"Mark, I am so nervous," Deb admitted as her eyes clouded over with fear.
"Deb, you will be fine. What are a few people?"
Mark teased as he slid his large hand over hers.
"A few people? Just because you've sang in front of thousands in Wembley and this is just a couple of hundred, doesn't make any difference," Deb replied as the white limousine they were travelling in sped up.
"Look babe, all we've gotta do is get out the car, walk up the carpet, and then I'll go on stage, do what I gotta do and then we're gonna get absolutely slaughtered at the after show party."
Mark assured her as he let his gaze travel down her voluptuous body. Dressed in an elegant slinky black number, with her blond hair pinned up high in ringlets, she looked stunning to say the least. Black stiletto heels accompanied the expensive dress, along with a new black bag.
"Deb, you look absolutely breathtaking ok? It's been five days since that thing in the paper, and we've had nothing but support from everyone. No body will say one word to ye, other than congratulations."
Slowly she let out her breath, that she didn't realise she had been holding in until then. Leaning forward, she felt her lips burn as his tongue slid effortlessly into her mouth. His hand slid along the silky contours of her soft neck. Sparking off a sudden urgent passion, she moved her body further up the seat as her hands wrapped themselves around his firm neck. She inhaled his gorgeous aftershave, letting it light up sparks in her body as his lips continued to tenderly caress hers. Arching her back against his chest, Mark could feel the soft firmness of her breasts pressing against him, sending tingling sensations all over his body. A stirring in his stomach travelled further down his body as her fingers began to rake themselves through his newly cut hair. Everything about this woman drove him wild, not to mention his energetic hormones. There had been many moments when he'd just wanted to lose himself in the beauty of her eyes and tell her in precise detail just how wonderful she made him feel. But after seriously considering his options and having a pep talk with Kian, the final decision had been to wait longer, until he was sure she felt the same or she told him first.
"Baby, your going to be fine," Mark breathed against her swollen kissed lips as the limo finally halted to a stop and a loud roar from all the fans escaped from the audience. Deb pulled away and smiled lovingly at Mark.
"I love you," she said simply, the words tumbling out of her mouth before she could stop them.
She observed his reaction, and her heart did a leap at his mesmerising blue eyes. His cornflower blue eyes sparkled happily as his gorgeous face broke into an ear splitting smile.
"Deb," he murmured, his voice a deeper and meaningful tone. "I love you too."
She felt her heart do a thousand cartwheels as her mouth descended on his with a strong heated passion, followed by gentle caresses of love. As the limo door was pulled open, she placed one long leg out delicately, before turning around for a second reassuring smile from Mark. Smiling back, she held onto the door and slid out of the car. Instantly crowds of voices screamed her and Mark's name as he walked around the side of the limousine, a sexy smirk forming on his full lips as he placed her hand firmly in his. Everywhere she turned, camera's were snapping wildly, and she felt like she was floating down the red carpet as she saw a few bright banners wishing her and Mark all the best for the future. She glanced up at him walking strongly beside her. Feeling her stare, he gazed down at the slender woman beside him and was positive he was about to burst with happiness.
"I love you," he mouthed to her as they posed for a photograph, his arms wrapping securely around her body, as he rested his head on her bare shoulder. They continued to walk towards the expensive glass doors as the sounds of the crazy crowd gradually quietened down. Squeezing her hand gently, he strode forward and led her into the posh building.
At an unearthly hour in the morning, Deb stumbled into her house and was greeted with darkness. Sighing and trying to obtain her blurry eyesight, she felt along the wall for a light switch. The actual show and party afterwards had been brilliant. Mark made sure he didn't leave her side once and she had never had such a brilliant time since she was a young, irresponsible teenager. Sighing with frustration as not being able to find the light switch, she slung her bag onto the hallway carpet and struggled to make her way into the kitchen through the darkness. Placing her hand out for the kitchen light switch, she fiddled with it, gradually growing angrier as it wouldn't turn on.
"Stupid fuckin' thing," Deb muttered to herself as she tried to keep her eyes open and her focus in one place.
Suddenly she froze as she head the creak of a door behind her, causing her to drop her mobile phone and send it skidding along the cold tiles. Instantly her stomach jumped and her hot blood felt like freezing cold water pounding through her thin veins. Not making a sound, she gently slipped her high heeled shoes off before making her way towards what she believed was the kitchen drawer. Silence greeted her, as the whole house remained eerily quiet. Feeling as if her heart was about to burst out of her panting chest, she fumbled with the cutlery as she tried to grab a large silver knife from the kitchen drawer in front of her. As she turned around in the pitch black darkness, a lump formed itself rigidly in her throat as she heard yet a second creak of a door, but this time much closer.
"Shit," Deb thought, as her large hazel eyes became fully alerted with fear.
She could feel her chest heaving with nerves as she carefully tip toed across the floor to retrieve her fallen mobile. Searching all around her, she felt herself becoming more and more panicked, as she couldn't find what she was looking for. The blade of the knife shimmered threateningly against the reflection of her ice cold fridge.
Realising her only lifeline was not there anymore, she felt large tears filling up her eyes. Trying to be brave and contain them, she pulled herself up off her knees, and gasped loudly in shock at the tall figure standing by the door. Dressed from head to toe in black, accompanied by a similar looking knife to hers, she felt her knees trembling as his face broke into an evil looking smile. His eyes stared straight into his victims as his slimy lips slowly curved into a gut wrenching smile.
"Honey, I'm home."
He lunged towards his wife, with a menacing glare in his dark eyes. Seeing the blade coming straight for her, Deb fell straight back onto the hard tiled floor as she felt Michael throw himself on top of her, raising the knife above her helpless body. A flicker of Mark's gorgeous face flashed across her shocked mind as she closed her eyes and surrendered to the darkness.
