I waited patiently as she came to the door. I didnt know why our first date had been canceled, or why she hadnt been able to talk for over 4 moths at the most, for that matter. Did she really like me as much as I thought? Maybe she just liked standing people up and then loosing all contact with them for long periods of time. What ever it was, I hoped that I didnt get hurt through this whole relationship. She answered the door seconds later and invited me in. Since I had never been in her house, she asked, Do you want a grand tour of my home? I nodded, positive that something good had to come out of this. She smiled and said, This way! She took my hand and pulled me around the house showing me every favorite thing about each room. Kelsey stopped at the bottom of the stairs and said, Now, for the upstairs. I smiled and said, You dont have to show me if you dont want to. Kelsey laughed, I want to though. Her laugh was light hearted, warm and caring. I followed Kelsey up the stairs as she spoke. I counted the steps as we climbed them and when we reached the top, I said, Sixteen stairs. Not a bad number. She smiled and pointed at the doors as we passed naming each room off. At the end of the hallway, she stopped and said, opening the door, And this is my room. I entered willingly and looked around. There were a few posters here and there, one or two of Dream Street and a few of Jesse and Me. She sat down on her bed and said, Its not that fancy, but its my room. She nodded. I sat down next to her and said, Well, its welcoming. I kissed her glossy lips and ran my hand down her back.
