Something was different about Kelsey. I wasn�t sure what it was, but something was definitely different. As she helped my mother clean up the last of the dishes, I walked over to her and said, �Hey Kelsey, want to go hang out?� She nodded and handed my mother the dishes in her hands. My mother replied, �Thanks Kelsey, you are such a dear.� She smiled politely, replying, �Its no big deal, Mrs. McCartney.� She joined me as I walked out of the kitchen. As we walked out of my house and down the street, I noticed Kelsey�s smile wouldn�t fade from her face. I joked around, �What, did you meet prince charming again?� Kelsey nodded answering, �Yeah, you know him too.� I stopped walking, asking shocked, �I do? Who?� She laughed, �Greg, silly! He asked me out on a date for tomorrow.� She stopped and turned around looking at me. I took a few steps to catch up with her and said, �Greg? Are you sure about going on a date with him?� She nodded yes answering, �Yeah. He�s really sweet and funny and has good manners. Not only that, he�s got a great body.� Her eyes looked like she had been brought up to heaven. As I tried to search for words on why he wasn�t her type, she became sad suddenly. I stopped and asked, �What�s wrong?� She stopped walking and said fatally, �Jesse, I don�t feel well right now.� I turned to her and said, �Are you sick?� She tried to answer, but before I knew it, she was lying in my arms head only inches above the ground. I shook her asking, �Kelsey? Are you okay? Kelsey?� My heart took up a quick pace. I reached for my cell phone and dialed 911. After telling them the problem, I called my mom and told her what happened. The ambulance arrived and put Kelsey onto a stretcher. My mom joined me seconds later and the paramedics asked my mom if Kelsey was related to her and me. My mom nodded and replied in a lie, �I�m her aunt and this is her cousin. Do you need us to go on the ambulance with her?�
