I couldn�t believe that she wouldn�t answer the question of whom it was that she
liked! Normally she tells me right off the bat and then begs me not to tell that
person. Suddenly, I realized that she did like Greg that way and the only reason
why she said maybe to every single person, except me, was because she didn�t
want it to look obvious. I smiled slyly and said, �Okay, so you don�t like me
that way and you do like Greg that way.� She blushed and said, �I said maybe not
that I did.�

I wondered why Jesse had just said that statement. I looked at her after looking
at Jesse and noticed that she was blushing. She did like me that way! I sighed
with relief. I knew that she liked me and that it was okay if I asked her out. I
quickly said, �So if it were me that you liked, and I asked you out, what would
you say?� What if she said maybe? Was that her favorite word or something?

I smiled at Greg�s question. Was it that obvious that I liked him? It must have
been my blush that gave me away. I shrugged and said, �I�d possibly say yes.�
Jesse smiled at Greg and said, �She said she�d say yes.� I looked at Greg and
saw the shock in his face. He likes me! Greg likes me! My heart took a jump off
of a diving board and into the pool of love.
