|| Chance Meetings - Chapter 2

Before long, Emma had realized how close me and James had gotten in the past few minutes, we were constantly talking and joking about things and he remained close to me.
Mattie could tell that Falon had a thing for him, and it seemed that he also liked her, so he began to concentrate on getting to know her. Emma and Hayley thought it best to leave me and James alone for a while, so they joined in Falons and Matties conversation along with Lorna, who was looking really anxious to chat to Charlie.
About 5 minutes went by before Charlie exited the building holding a backpack over his left shoulder. Lorna walked up to him and told him that she knew who he was, so he smiled and began to talk to her as we headed towards Covent Gardens. During our 20 minute walk, James and I became even closer, it was like we were destined to be together. He put his arm around me and I felt something inside me say to me that we were falling in love. Mattie and Falon seemed to be hitting it off too, and so were Lorna and Charlie. Lorna had introduced herself during our walk and had asked Charlie to call her Lori, and he asked if she would call him Chase.
When we arrived at Covent Gardens, Charlie asked Lorna if she wanted to go for a walk, she thought she was in heaven, so she replied straight away with a Yes! Id love to! so they went off somewhere, Im not quite sure where, but they told us that theyd meet us at 7pm outside burger King.
Mattie asked if Falon would like to do the same, so they went off in the opposite direction to Charlie and Lorna.
Only Emma, Hayley, James and I remained.
So, where do you gurlz wanna go? asked James looking at the 3 of us.
I dont mind. I replied, before looking at Emma and Hayley. They kinda caught my drift and decided to go off shopping on their own, leaving me and James.
Hey, Ive just remembered this place that Ive been meaning to go to for ages, come on, Ill show you! whispered James as he took my hand and led me off to the left. I had no idea where he was taking me because Id only been to London twice before, and that was with my English class the second time and with some Canadian and English Guides the first time, about 3 years before.
It took us a further 10 minutes to get to where he had been longing to go to.
He had led me in the direction of the London eye and asked me Have you ever been on the London Eye? I hadnt, Id only ever seen it from a distance, so he led me there and paid for the two of us. We stepped into one of the compartments shortly after arriving and the door was shut behind us. James and I had the compartment completely to ourselves as he had requested and it didnt in the least bother us, at least this way, we could spend some time alone.
When our compartment had become high enough off the floor for anyone to enter through the door, James removed his hooded top and threw it on one of the seats, before walking over to me and wrapping his arms around me.
I knew there was something special about you the instant I saw you! he whispered to me as he kissed me softly on the lips. I couldnt believe it, my first kiss was with the boy that Id always dreamt of going on a date with!

Not long after, someone in a compartment noticed James and took a photo when he was sitting next to me holding my hand, talking about random things.
Great, Ive been spotted! he said as he looked at the person who had taken the photo. Oh well, I dont really care! he looked at me and smiled, As long as were in here together, who cares what people will say! He leant over and kissed me again. Another flash from the persons camera penetrated the glass and James didnt seem to care about it. So, what do you think of the views? he asked as our lips parted.
Theyre great, but they dont look half as good as you! I answered, blushing a little.
Thanks! You know, Ive never met someone like you before! he said staring into my eyes. Are you from around here? he asked.
Sadly, no, I live near a so called historical city called Durham in the North-East, Im staying at my friends cousins for another week and a half, before I have to go back home! I answered, wishing that I did live nearer to him.
Where about is Durham, maybe we could come up and do a gig near there and give you and your friends backstage passes. He suggested.
Well, its kinda near Newcastle, youll probably find it on a map or something, we got the train down from Durham train station to Kings Cross yesterday, maybe you could find out there! I said hopefully.
Well, I know where Newcastle is, so it wont take me too long to find Durham. Have you got a pen and paper? he asked.
Yeah, here. I handed him a pen and some paper and he scribbled something down. Make sure that you keep this safe! he said, handing the paper and pen back to me. I read it and saw that hed given me an email address.
Have you got an email address? he asked.
Yeah, do you want me to write it for you?
Sure, if you dont mind, that way, we could keep in touch, and Ill probably invite you and some friends down whenever youre free! I could even pay for you if youd like that!
I wrote my email address down and handed it to him.
Thanks! Can I borrow your pen for a minute?
Sure! I replied.
He scribbled something on the piece of paper that I had given him with my email address on, before placing it in a zip pocket in his top and handing me my pen back.
Where do you want to go next? he asked.
Anywhere that you want, youll know London better than me! I gazed into his gorgeous blue eyes and he gazed back into mine.
Sure, anything that you want, besides, now that Ive met you, my life seems to have become more complete, you mean more to me than what my past girlfriends did, and I wish that we could be together not too much later on in life! he said as he took hold of my hands. Have you got anything planned for tomorrow? Well, we were planning to spend the day in Brighton and possibly go swimming. I whispered into his ear.
Mind if I tag along? Ive got nothing planned. He whispered back.
I dont see why not, but what if people notice you? I asked, concerned for him.
Dont worry, Ive been to Brighton loads of times before, and hardly anyone has stopped me, he said, brushing my hair behind my left ear. So, is it a date?
Yeah, but where are we going to meet? I asked.
Outside where you are staying, we could drive you gurlz there!
Sure why not, were leaving at about 11 oclock. I told him before writing Sandras address down for him.
