Candy are you ready my mom said as she was opening the door for us to leave for
the airport. Yeah I�m coming I just need to know where the batteries are so I
can put them in my cd player I yelled. Check in the kitchen under the cabinet
below the silverware. Okay I�ll be out there in a minute. I ran and got the
batteries and got the last of my bags and locked the door.
*when I was in the car*
So mom I�m going to star in New York for 2 months? I asked. Yeah I�m sorry
sweetie but I have to go California to write about Cameron Diaz and her new
movie. Awe that�s okay I know it�s for your work but mom can I ask you a
question? Yeah sure my mom said. What made you think about taking me to Chris
and Helena�s house for the summer, why couldn�t I just stay at Kristin�s house?
I asked. Oh well I was talking to Helena that was like the 1st time in like 5
years and the subject came up that I was going to California and she asked me
where I was going to leave you, so I said that I was still thinking about it.,
and she offered me to let you stay. Oh I said and looked out the window
wondering how this summer would be.. Okay were here my mom said. I kind of
breathed hard because I never did like riding on planes even though I have been
on them with my parents for my mom�s job, I just never really like riding them.
Dad you made it I said as I ran up and hugged him. Yeah I took t!
he morning off to come and put you on the plane. Then we heard the announcement.
7:30 A.M. flight to New York now boarding lift off will be favorable for takeoff
all passengers now board the plane. That�s your flight my mom said. I�m going to
miss ya�ll I said giving my parents a hug and a kiss while shedding a tear. Call
me right you get to New York my Dad said. I will Bye and that was the last time
I saw my parents while heading to New York. I walked in and took my seat and
began listening to my cd player when my cell phone rang. Hello? I asked Candy
it�s Amber. Hey Amber I�m on the plane right now. Awe I�m going to miss you and
right when Calvin started to like you. O know I just had to leave to New York.
Well I better go we are fixing to take off talk to you later I told Amber. Bye
we both said and hung up

Chris I need you to go and pick up Candy from the airport while I go and get
groceries.
Mom it�s the summer now I want to go out, Chris said. CHRISTOPHER RYAN
TROUSDALE. Okay, Okay I�ll go and get her but I�m taking Greg with me, Chris
said, by the way mom I don�t even know what she looks like now. Chris she can�t
change that much I mean look at you, you look quite the same as when u were a
child, Helena said. Okay mom I�m leaving now so I can get back in time to change
for the party tonight at Club Fizz. Chris oh never mind just go Helena said as
she handed Chris the keys.

2 hours went by
Awe I yawned as I woke up. The announcer said attention all passengers we will
be landing at the New York International Airport in approximately 1 and a half
minutes. I sat up straight and when the plane stopped I got off . Miss head into
the main entrance and that�s were you will pick up your bags. Thanks I said and
headed to get my bags.

Okay were here, Chris said as he and Greg got out of the car. I can�t believe
she is staying with us for 2 months this was suppose to be the BEST summer,
Chris stated. Wait a minute weren�t you and Candy like best friends? Greg said.
Yeah Chris said. So then what�s wrong with her coming? Greg said. I don�t know I
mean I don�t know why I am feeling this way I guess because I�m older and she
has never called me or written me I guess, Chris said. Shouldn�t you be the one
writing her since you left? Greg said smartly. They walked in the airport. Wow
nice place to check out girls Greg said. Yeah not bad Chris said. Now if only I
could find her. They walked around OoOoO HOT mama at 10 o�clock Greg said
looking at a girl that was wearing blue jean hipsters and a tube top with a
jacket/blouse over it. Woo Hoo Chris said licking his lips. She started walking
towards them. Chris is it just me or is she walking more and more closer to us?
Greg said taking a big gulp. I don�t know man I!
can�t move. Then she spoke...Chris is that you she said. Yeah how-how-how do

I could tell Chris didn�t recognize me at all so I walked up to him. Sure enough
I asked him something and he didn�t even know it was me. Chris it�s me candy I
said and gave him a hug. Chris was turned to Greg and Greg gave him a thumbs
up. Maybe this might not be as bad as I thought Chris whispered to Greg.
