Mary Ellen hart was born in 1891 in Knobel, Ar. She had a sister named Emma Jane Hart.
One day in sunlight she was taken to Hopkins County, Kentucky, along with her sister to live. Her mother stayed behind in Knobel, she went by May Hart. Mary and her sister Emma were living in Hopkins County Ky. with Roland Washington Mitchell in the 1900 census. Living in Knobel Arkansas at that time were the Stanley's who were family to Roland's wife Rebecca Stanley Mitchell. Mary Ellen Hart never heard from her parents, May-her mother, was married to Sam Hart. Maybe that was just his nickname. What happened to the parents of Mary Ellen Hart?
