| Hi . We are Terry & Lois Gardiner. We are originally from Calgary Alberta, but are currently living in London UK until 2005. We just spent the last 2 years in beautiful Switzerland leaving September 20th 2002. I have always loved the boxer breed as I grew up with boxers in my childhood home. In 1990 I decided that I wanted to have a boxer of my own.. Just after Christmas that year I brought home a cute flashy fawn female, her name was Kasha. I had originally purchased her as a companion, but after her obedience classes she did make it into the show ring. Due to my inexperience in the show ring, she was shown by some friends that had more knowledge than I. Unfortunately Kasha spent the time in the ring looking for me outside the ring , so we were not successful and that was the end of her show career. In 1993 we had our first litter under the prefix "Gardiner" and we kept a flashy brindle male "Niko". Niko went through obedience training and handling classes and when the time was right entered the show ring. In 1995 I finally had enough courage to enter the ring with Niko, we perservered and by the summer we had our first home grown Champion. We were hooked!!! We decided we wanted to get more involved in breeding good quality boxers with the wonderful temperment that we all know and love. At this time after extensive studing we decided that we needed to find our foundation bitch. With the help of our friends and fellow Breeders Jodi Martin of Westsett Kennels Reg'd and Lilas Fischer of Myohmy Kennel reg'd we mananged to find our beautiful girl Myohmy's Keiralina Sinai ( Bogey daughter). Keira turned out eventually to be everything we had hoped. Initially we were disappointed that she was not successful in the ring as she was a bit over flashed. In the end however her ability to breed and raise amazing puppies was her strength and what ended up earning her a Dam of Merit. Keira has had 3 litters and to date has produced 5 Champions they are : CH. KNK's Kanoa Mauna Kea " Kanoa" CH. Westsett's Trick or Treat "Punkee" CH. KNK's Kirby Nun Kun "Kirby" CH. KNK's Angel Eyes of Cordinators "Jewel" CH.KNK's Reese Gerizim "Reese" Health issues are vey important in a breeding program and we take the utmost care and ensure that all studs and bitches are tested. Hearts and hips are the most important but other testing can be very vital and is completed as needed. We are excited of the future of KNK Boxers with these Champions.
