| Because Siberians are high-energy and high-maintenance dogs, they are often abandoned or given to animal shelters by their frustrated and/or inexperienced owners. Families move to smaller homes or apartments where there is just no room for a big dog, partners split up, children outgrow the family pet, etc, etc, the list goes on. There are many sad stories of abused and abandoned Siberian Huskies but if each of us can save just one of them, maybe they can all have forever homes where they can receive the love and attention they deserve.
