The very name of this insect strikes fear in people's hearts. The size of a large house cat, the purple female will attack the unwary traveler to the Forbidden Forest with the grip of it's mandables and it's stinging tounge.
Knocked unconcious, the poor victim will be infected with the beetle's eggs. Soon after, the larvae will totally devour it's prey, leaving only the bones! Attack it with the Anti-Beetle Spray!
