They were actually getting quite good at slashing and hacking and even skinning now, and thought they might be able to do some more training to discover more of where and what this place was. They went back to see the same man they had seen before. He recognized them and bid them welcome and asked if they were up for some more training. They told him they were, but didn�t know exactly what they should train in or even, could train in. They asked the man what they could train in. He gave them a long list of things they would be able to train. Some though had season caps on them, in other words they would not be able to practice them until they were a lot better than they were now. They looked at the list given them. Divination, alteration, conjuration, all of these looked like some kind of magic things. They decided they would practice some in each and told the man this. �I am sorry Texxan and Xavieras but I only have a short time to train young ones. I will however grant you 5 practices in what ever you wish to practice in until you gain more experience� the man said. They looked again at the list and decided on what they would spend the 5 practices on and did so. The man bid them well and turned again to others that were there. The two of them were famished. They went back to the tent at the gate and sat. They brought out the skin bags of milk and some of the biscuits and ate, watching the fire dance across the way by bubba. They curled up together, Bills arms around Paula and fell asleep. Tired, and fed and with some money now in their pocket, they slept well on the soft sands under the tent.
