So, how do we get started? Here we must understand what our task is not.
It is not one of appealing to masses of the brain-dead.
It is not one of running candidates for public office.
It is not one of concerning ourselves with ephemeral political issues, issues which are transient and about which we cannot do anything anyway. Remember that we are not going to solve the problems of the world, until we have fIrst gotten our own house in order.
Our task is not one of playing "revolution" or trying to revive the Third Reich.
It is not one of trying to save everything white, such - as the Nicole Simpsons of the world, all those guilt-ridden self-haters, or the types who appear regularly in public confessionals on trash TV.
Saving the race does not require preserving everything white. Rather, it involves salvaging and mobilizing that small number which comprises the best eleme! nts of our race. This is the raw material which will form the basis for a new folk - not the indifferent, self - centered, brainless flotsam of a decadent, materialistic, consumer society .
THREE HUMAN TYPES
There are three types of people in contemporary society. Our Leader has described these as the very best, the very worst, and those in between. What we are talking about here are not artificial class or social divisions, but ethical gradations within the populace.
The best may be described as the idealists, those willing to subordinate their own personal interests to the greater good of the whole. The worst are the opposite: those who always place their own selfish interests above everything else. While one category embodies social virtue, the other reflects social vice.
Both of these categories, however, comprise but a small fraction of the total population. Standing between the two is the broad mass of people, who exhibit a mixture of virtue and vice. When the best element is dominant in society - as was the case in National Socialist Germany - the better, more idealistic qualities of the average person also predominate. O! n the other hand, when the worst elements are dominant - as is the case today - the reverse is true: The worst, meanest, most selfish and materialistic side of ordinary men and women becomes the social norm. In laying the foundation for a new folk, therefore, what we must seek is that minority of racial idealists scattered about in the general population, to the exclusion of the other two categories. What we are talking about is not a majority , but a minority of will and determination, one which will one day succeed, where a decadent white majority has repeatedly failed.
A MINORITY OF THE BEST
Right now, there are at least 160,000 racial brothers and sisters scattered about in North America, who think and feel exactly as we do. It is our job to identify them, to reach them and bring them into our ranks.
And beyond these 160,000, there are at least another 1,600,000 who share our fundamental ideals and values, but who have not yet achieved ideological clarity and understanding, whom we must educate. Finally, there are at least 16,000,000 of good Aryan racial stock from the broad mass of the population, who are confused and perhaps even superficially hostile, but who must nevertheless be won over for a better world.
These are the fractional numbers we are working with. But never mind. These are the ones for whom we are fighting, the ones who represent thefuture of our race! Are you beginning to see, now, what is meant when we refer to a " new folk " in our introductory leaflet " What Is the NEW ORDER ? "
FOLK ~ FORMATION
There are four stages, or phases, in the process of folk - formation, which we describe as: (I) IDEA; (II) MOVEMENT; (III) COMMUNITY; and (IV) FOLK.
The First Phase is one of advancing and propagating the Idea, articulated as a revolutionary new faith, to provide a spiritual foundation and infrastructure for the mobilization of those racial idealists we seek.
In advancing the Idea, we set the proper tone for racial discourse by showing the relevance and significance of the Hitlerian message. In so doing, we establish a practical working field of common aspiration, will and consciousness. All of this, of course, is based on the premise that before there can be effective action, there must first be a common outlook, a common vision and common values as the basis for a common. will.
The Second Phase is that of building the Movement. To the extent that the First Phase has accomplished the necessary preliminary work, this phase runs concurrently with it.
And here we must understand a few basics:
(I) All talk of gaining political power is a nonstarter, without consideration of the necessary preliminaries.
(2) As the Old Order collapses, the political structure will be the last facet of this decaying order to collapse.
(3) Before there can be a new state, there must first be a movement which constitutes the embryonic nucleus of the coming order.
(4) The struggle for a New Order will involveprotracted struggle.
The Third Phase involves the organic development of a National Socialist community out of the Movement struggle for a New Order. In the disintegrating circumstances and uncertainties of the future, the Movement must evolve into a social unit capable of acting autonomously and independently of the System, and eventually meeting all the vital needs of our people.
The Fourth and final Phase is the culmination of the process, with the emergence of a biological unit - a proto - Folk. Such a folk can be considered to have come into existence when, out of a National Socialist community , a third or fourth successive generation of National Socialists has been born and reared as part of a self-perpetuating ethnic body.
Only with the creation of such an ethnic identity will there be the necessary organic basis, not only for racial survival, but also for successful definitive action leading to the establishment of the coming New Order.
In summary, then, the correct path to the New Order proceeds from the Idea to the Movement, then to a Community and on to a new Folk- in that order.
