Brothers and Sisters
---- Brothers and Sisters ----
Do the words "Brother" or "Sister" conjure any thoughts or emotions when spoken or read?
This question comes to mind recently due to events in my own life. Though the specific events are of no one else's real concern, they have given me pause, as well as some time to think.
It seems to me, that I have many more brothers and sisters, than those directly related by birth. They stand all around me, in all directions. All are cherished even without names and faces at times. All are part of an extended family of sorts, one of race and spirit.
The fact is, that although at times we argue, fight, are separated by distance, and even ideology, etcetera; we always seem to come back to the same cause, and home. Our concerns remain the same at very basic levels.... To protect our race, family, and those who struggle with and for us.
The Brotherhood/Sisterhood in our movement seems to be an undeniable reality. It is, and will be a very tangible base of strength for us to build from in any future test of will. For one to be without a brother or sister, (at least in spirit) leaves one weakened and alone at one point or another. Availing our enemies an opportunity to defeat us individually or "en mas". I thank all powers that our movement is not lacking in these feelings of brotherhood. These relationships will bring us strength, and closer to victory, however slowly it may come. We must remain strong, relying upon our brothers and sisters to help us through at times. We as
individuals must also be willing to accept the role of brother or sister when necessary.
This has simply been a thought. I hope it makes some folk think, feeling something new and worthwhile, or make others renew their will to be strong.
I send out hails to you all; -----My brothers and sisters, as well as my race and nation.
