The Round Table
The Round Table served as the center of Arthur's kingdom.  It sat the most elite and chivalrous 150 knights in Camelot, and also a seat left open for the Holy Grail.  The table was given to Arthur as a wedding gift from King Leodegraunce, who was the father of Guinevere.  The table was unique because it was round, meaning that everyone was equal at it.  The table also held a seat called the Seige Perilous which could only be sat upon by the best knight in the world, all others would be burned upon sitting on it.  This seat was finally filled by Sir Galahad, even Sir Lancelot could not sit in it.  The Round Table's knights were renowned all throughout England as they stood up to the challanges of evil knights and upheld the code of chivalry.

Knight Of The Round Table
The First Knight of Camelot and best friend of King Arthur.  Lancelot was the son of King Ban and Queen Elaine, but he was raised by the Lady Of The Lake, who brought him to Camelot to be knighted under Merlin's request.  Sir Lacelot killed forty knights and was the best knight in the world next to his son, Sir Galahad.  After his arival in Camelot Sir Lancelot and Queen Guinevere instantly fell in love.  After their affair was revealed Sir Lancelot was exiled from the kingdom of Camelot.  He returned to aid King Arthur in his battle against Sir Mordred but arrived to late, Arthur had died and Guinevere had become a nun.  Lancelot spent the last few years of his life as a hermit.

Sir Gawain
Knight Of The Round Table
One of the bravest and most courteous knghits of Camelot, but a dangerous warrior when angry.  Gawain was the eldest son of King Lot and Queen Anna, he was also King arthur's favorite nephew.  After being knighted, Sir Gawain's most famous encounter was with a giant green knight in which he was led through a maze of tricks but made it through because of his loyalty to the code of chivalry.  Sir Gawain was mortally wounded at the seige of Benwick by Sir Lancelot after Lancelot had unintentionally killed his brothers in a scirmish.  Before dying from the wound he wrote a letter to Sir Lancelot to ask for his forgiveness and saying that they would be eternal friends, this was one of the best examples of the code of chivalry despite Sir Gawain's habit for often taking unchivalrous revenge.
