VICTORY OVER THE DEDITE EMPIRE
After 57 days of continuous warfare across no less than eleven battlefields and nine fronts, the Dedite War is over.
The Dedite Emperor, Gorgo, has been tracked down and killed; his forces scattered across the southwest of the Dedite lands.
The Heirs of Skull Craig have liberated the uber-castle "Skull Craig" and now Lord Kasparev and his lovely wife Thrella Driftwood rule there with their retainers.
The noble and insanely courageous Red Avengers, ancient order of monks from the Forest Kingdom, are free to remain in their order or seek new destinies. Already some are settling down to create new monasteries or create religious teaching centres based on the Religion of the Source.
The war has claimed thousands of lives, and ended the aspirations of many realms; it has birthed the Free Realms, and the Sky Federation will forever remember it as their "Genesis War", the war that created them in the crucible of armed conflict.
For thousands more, the cost remains to be counted: monstrous puppeteers on the loose, splintered families, reawoken evils, banditry... and the sinister shadows of threats old and new, driven into the light by the paroxysms of the War to End Wars.
