Jack Reynard, the Wild Child. Jack Reynard is a far cry from the sophisicated super-spy of Haranlarche history. Jack Reynard is an outcast boy raised by Fey-Foxes. When Jack's fox-family was killed, he was found by the Heirs of Skullcraig. After living with a former adventuress for some months, Jack ran away from home to join the Sky Federation - he had lost his family and belived, as so many others have, that the Sky Federation Uhainu would give him the family he wanted. Jack also wanted to be a Sky Corsair, sailing across the skies from adventure to adventure! Jack was adopted by Damma the Sky Queen into her clan and began his training in Sky Fleet.Jack is best friends with Zorb, a young beholder and just about the smartest being in the Sky Federation. Jack and Zorb have had quite a number of adventures already in their cadetship, centering around the greatest ship in the fleet, the SFV-55 Aries. Jack & Zorb have fought slogres (slug ogres), and together with Thiri Oron, were the only survivors from the Aries of the 2nd Battle of Rockport.
Unusual Features
Jack is just a boy, not even 13 years old. He already has an impressive record of dedication to his crew-mates. Jack has fox-colouring in his red-brown hair and his animal-like eyes that unnerve very easily. (The Birdmen races are usually wary of the boy because of his eyes.) Jack is certainly unusual in his background, but he the Sky Federation is full of "unusual" people. Jack does not seem to have any unusual abilities or powers. However, he has survived amazing dangers for a boy his age and his heritage may yet hold surprises for him. During the 2nd Battle of Rockport Jack was infected by the Doom-tainted disease. Jack fought off the undead-machine body invasion with little side-effects. While Zorb's incredicble intellect and rigorous training see him through many difficulties, Jack's tenacity and amazing luck have kept him alive and victorious in the many situations his natural curiousity places him in.
Current Assignment
Jack is currently serving out one of his final cadet ship-board postings on board the SFV-55c Aries as an Acting Ensign. Thiri Oron is his captain, and Zorb is the Magics Officer. The Aries is currently on a Sky Fleet scouting mission.
