Joensoenna Gildargoth tops Wild Lands Wealthiest for second year in row

Joensoenna Gildargoth of Shark Island has once again earned the epithet "Wild Lands Wealthiest", with traders, shopkeepers and Bards acknowledging her to own the most real property, the most Gumj Scrip, the most coin and the most gems of any merchant. It was looking very bad for Joensoenna in early 2month of 1101YAC, when a green dragon attacked her Vaults in Sea Camel, however her private army defeated the beast, and after she ransomed it back to its father her wealth only grew.

The only hope for her rivals now if they are to take her title of "Wild Lands Wealthiest" is her extreme age -- it surely can't be too many more years before she passes away, leaving the way clear for another to claim her merchant crown.

"RED PEPPER" still refuses to turn King's Evidence; faces new probe over connections to slave trade

Mythtropolis militia swooped in a series of raids on the homes, guildhouses and businesses of notable parliamentarians and nobles. The suspects were believed to be implicated in offences ranging from bearing false witness to counterfeiting, fraud, abduction, slavery and murder.

All the suspects have now been charged and convicted except for Red Pepper, halfling master of political intrigue in the realm of Haranlarche. With insufficient evidence to prosecute him, the militia are still holding him in the upper level of the Bitterstone Prison.

The Manhunter, amazonian Militia Commissioner of Haranlarche, has so far been unable to bring sufficient legal duress to bear on Red Pepper for the miscreant to confess.
