FIMBULWINTER ENDED BY SILVER KNOT

The Silver Knot successfully entered the interdimensional portal under Spire Keep in the Southshire of Haranlarche, arrived in the pocket dimension of Winter, and once there destroyed the evil book Mutterings of a Madman. The destruction of this book ended the scheme of Jar Zorod to usher in the Fimbulwinter and strengthen Ragnarok and other entities that serve ytitnedion and the forces of total annihilation.

Although some of the puzzles they faced gave the team slight pause, the mission was accomplished with a minimum of fuss, as one would expect from the greatest heroes of the civilised world.

 

SILVER KNOT HOLDS FEAST OF THANKS

The Silver Knot held a hugely successful feast to thank the good people of Mythtropolis and beyond for their prayers, attributing the safe return of the team from the mists of time to their well-wishers and the Immortals.

 

SILVER KNOT MEMBER O’RYAN THE ARCHER ASSASSINATED

Shea O’Ryan, last High Elf of Craxis, was assassinated by a mysterious and murderous villain known only as the Executioner, who is apparently a servant of Anti-Life and a possible ally of Ragnarok. The ten days of mourning attract the crown heads of civilisation and the funereal dirges and games centre on the Elven Quarter of Mythtropolis.

Although Shea O’Ryan was not universally well-known or well-liked, he was greatly beloved of the Elves worldwide, and was described by his heroic and noble team-mate Ironthorn as “the last link to a vanished world where nature was more powerful”.

 

AFTER THE VIGIL FOR O’RYAN, THE SILVER KNOT WILL RESCUE MONKFISH FROM LORD SHIN

After decorous and heartfelt mourning for their fallen team-mate, The Silver Knot, at its maximum strength, intend to confront the armoured dictator of the East, LORD SHIN. Shin is believed to be one of the mightiest mortals on the planet due to the all-covering magical armour he wears. He is a highly-trained Sorceror and Monk into the bargain.

 

BUD THE PLANT-MAN AND DELILAH THE SHE-SAVAGE LEAVE THE SILVER KNOT

With the threat of the undead god M'Wandah ended forever by the team with the assistance of the mysterious super-sorceror known as the Dreamer, Bud the Plant-Man has departed the team to begin the healing process on the Whispering Jungle peninsula. Likewise Delilah the She-Savage, the half-giant Beach Druid, has left the team for Stormshell City south of the Whispering Jungle to help the city develop and construct a tropical Druidical Grove.

 

WHITE OWL DECLARES WAR ON CRIME

White Owl has gone on reserve status from the Silver Knot but is still seen on the streets and in the skies of Mythtropolis and beyond, waging a ruthlessly dedicated one-man war on crime.
White Owl has vowed to destroy Red Talon's crime guild and bring in or kill Red Talon himself. Likewise, White Owl has set himself in opposition to the Monster League of Injustice. Of Ragnarok, the incredibly powerful leader of the Monster League, White Owl has been quoted by Psinga the Herald as saying, "tell him I'm plotting his downfall."
When she is free from her active duties with the Silver Knot, the busy and dangerous femme fatale member of the team, Red Robin, assists White Owl at every opportunity. White Owl is also mentoring the young adventurers and superheroic rising stars of the city.

 

BLAZING SKULL BATTLES THE EXECUTIONER

The extremely violent and near-criminal vigilante known only as "Blazing Skull" surprised the suspected killer of Shea O'Ryan, "The Executioner", whilst the villain was disporting himself at the whorehouse known as L'il Princess' Dancing Academy.
A shoot-out ensued between the twin repeating crossbows of the Blazing Skull and the changeable Firestaff / Flaming Axe vari-weapon of The Executioner. The battle was so fierce that even the militia specialist warriors and wizards were forced back, leaving only the Commissioner and a mysterious team of metahuman sellswords to try and help Blazing Skull... unfortunately even they were no use in the breaking up the savagery of the firefight, which left the bordello in fiery ruins, a section of the upper eastside wharves in flames and both men missing, after they plunged into the shallows of the Elmo Waterpark docklands.
The Commissioner has issued orders for the arrest of both men: charges of Affray and Assault for the Blazing Skull, and charges of murder and attempted murder for The Executioner. There is no word at all of the mysterious metahuman team.
