THE SILVER KNOT ENDS THE WAR OF THE ELEMENTS

Triumph piled on triumph as the Silver Knot went to each of the Elemental Planes, entering the correct (confusing) mathematical codes in each of the door locks to open the temple annexes and placing the Elemental Shields back on their respective altars.

No sooner had each shield been placed than they turned into golden segments, each set with a gem resembling those set into the now forever altered Elemental Shields. Putting the four segments together created the Golden Death Orb, a powerful artefact of Wizardry and Wild Romance, able to vanquish any elemental or witchcraft force...

Rocco was exposed to the Source, origin of all magic. This has reverted him to his original form; the grey gargoyle "Captain Rock" form is no more..!

Now the Silver Knot has set off for the ruined village of Belunorr, and the sealed evil Temple of the Elements...

ROCCO aka CAPTAIN ROCK KILLS MR. SNOW IN SLUGFEST DUEL

Rocco has been under a lot of pressure lately, defending Secomber during the Crime Wave, assisting his team-mates in the Silver Knot, and developing the "Silver Tower" sea keep base of the Silver Knot team. In the midst of all of this, Lord Ogre and the Ogre Trading and Shipping Emporium had been taken over by the villains Mr. Snow and Arctus. Using the duello law, Rocco "called out" Mr. Snow. The duel took place under the Barbarian Code, weaponless and armourless, with no items and only the skills and powers each man possessed.

The battle was epic, fought out at the duelling grounds on the outskirts of the city dump in Mythtropolis, watched by a crowd of hundreds of adventurers and townsfolk. Rocco was intially pummelled almost to the point of unconsciousness by the ice powered mace-fist attacks of Mr. Snow, augmented by the barbarian sorceror's prodigious strength. After some coaching from his team-mates, Rocco drew on the strength of the city itself to renew his own attacks, and in the end Mr. Snow was clobbered relentlessly, finally falling to Rocco after a series of wrestling manoeuvres nearly crippled both men.
