SILVER KNOT DESTROYS AZAL'S "GRAND ARCADE" DUNGEON COMPLEX BENEATH SECOMBER AS THE STREETS OF THE CITY SUFFER THE CRIMEWAVE...
The Silver Knot finally won through with all of the components necessary for their quest to end the War of the Elements, leaving the Grand Arcade complex broken and flooded with sewer waters, as it was before Azal took it over in 1100 YAC.
With Captain Rock, White Owl and the local heroines Blue Moon Sorceress and Snake Charmer assisting a militia force numbering 2,000, the forces of goodness struck back against a concerted and organised crime gang army attack attempting to carve up the city of Secomber into crime zones, each to be given to a different crime family. Although many of the crime family bosses escaped, large numbers of their followers were killed or defeated in combat in the streets, and Captain Rock used his cityweaving powers to restore most of the damage to the city's buildings, leaving him exhausted temporarily. A mayor and ruling city council have now been installed by Haranlarche in this, the realm's newest city.
SILVER KNOT ARRIVES BACK IN MYTHTROPOLIS THEN SETS OFF AGAIN TO COMPLETE THE QUEST TO END THE WAR OF THE ELEMENTS
Acting in close concert with the militia of Mythtropolis, the Silver Knot obtained the use of the wasteground at Excise Island in the City Bay. Once there, having landed their Flitter on the rubble-strewn ground of the island, they were joined by the mysterious Sorceror known as The Dreamer. The snow-haired, blue-skinned mysterious magician opened up a huge silvery portal into another dimension, and the team flew through in the Flitter.
Hours passed, and whatever puzzle it was the team needed to solver made more and more demands... The Dreamer flitted back and forth using his flying spells; Urtaan, a local Sage who lives in the Fool's Tower in the Cutpurse District of Mythtropolis, teleported to Excise Island; eventually a mysterious Davanian Paladin joined the team and its allies as most of them remained on the far aide of the magical portal and the rest of the heroes puzzled over hoary texts on magic and ancient history and other esoterica.
After half a day, with night having fallen, a battered and scratched Flitter returned in wobbly and erratic fashion back through the portal. The Dreamer flew alongside it on the tiny trip back to the Silver Knot's seakeep in the bay. Another part of the War of the Elements quest had been completed!
