The new larger team arrived back in the benighted city of Secomber in disguise then entered the dungeons of Azal, the crime lord monster that it seems the team must defeat if they are to complete the quests to end the War of the Elements.
After several hours, the team evacuated under cover of night, little having been accomplished other than the liberation of an elemental idol and the destruction of a brace of the enemy's daemonic servants.

Green fireballs have fallen from the sky across Secomber, destroying the parliamentary stronghold and wrecking other civilian buildings. Loss of life has been low, most casualties were amongst the armed forces.
Doctor Takion seemed at one point to be cooperating with the green fireballs, which the Doctor seemed to be communicating with, but it later emerged that he was simply thinking out loud as he led innocents from the scene of destruction.
King's Brigade troopers are still keeping the peace on the surface in Secomber, having assumed control of the city's military over the objections of the surviving Secumbrian parliamentarians.
