WHITE OWL, CAPTAIN ROCK AND MYSTERY OF THE SILVER KNOT JOURNEY TO SECOMBER, TO ONCE AGAIN SLUG IT OUT IN THE SEWERS WITH MURDEROUS MONSTERS
Captain Rock the Gregarious Gargoyle, Mystery the Unkillable Woman and White Owl the Dark Night Avenger journeyed back to Secomber to seek out the Air Diamond needed to complete the Shield of Earth. This side trek is part of their ongoing quest to end the War of the Elements.
Whilst the rest of the team sought more information back in Mythtropolis, and Bud the Green Ranger Druid plantman member of the group finished up his activities against the M'Wandah cult, the trio went into the Outwall suburb of Secomber, one of the most notorious low-class areas of any of the cities of the Wild Lands.
Perhaps inevitably, once again the group found themselves trapped in the sub-surface lair of some sort of terrible monster mobster, known as Azal or Shoub-Aktar.
Staggering into the daylight hours after their disappearance, the trio trashed a warehouse and shopfront belonging to the Celestial Dragons Laundry company and fled back to the group's flitter with some enslaved women rescued from the clutches of the evil monster mobster and his lackeys.
GREEN FIREBALLS STRIKE IN SECOMBER, DESTROYING RIVERBOAT AND WATERFRONT RESTAURANT
Green fireballs plunged to earth destroying a moored riverboat paddlewheeler and its parent business overnight. Onlookers say they saw a figure trapped in the green energy as it swirled back into the sky. Another black-clad figure was seen fleeing the scene. In the wreckage a large number of barrels of dust of coloration were found, emerald green in colour. This has led the Royal Militia to condlude that the explosion was caused by improper combination of magical reagents in a laboratory somewhere in the restaurant.
There are no other known survivors.
The Secomber Militia and Committee For Public Safety have respectfully disagreed with the Royal Militia and have protested at the king's decision to send his King's Brigade to investigate the source of these mysterious explosions in Secomber.
