PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Player of the week for (April 5th - April 11th) is SP Carl (The Meal Ticket) Hubbell of North Dallas. Carl is helping North Dallas finally make it to the post season by being the dominant pitcher he can be. Carl was 2-0 on the week with and ERA of 0.55 allowing only one earned run in 16 2/3 innings pitched including one complete game shutout and striking out ten batters. Carl also helped himself at the plate by batting .500 (4-8) with three RBI.Other Player of the Week Candidates:
SP - Lefty (Mose) Grove of Harlem, for the week Lefty was 2-0 with an ERA of 1.10 allowing only two earned runs in 16 2/3 innings pitched and striking out five.
1B - Jack (Slug) Burns of Sahara who for the week batted .478 (11-23) with two doubles three RBI and six runs scored.
3B - Pie Traynor of Montgomery who for the week batted .435 (10-23) with two doubles, a triple knocked in four runs and scored three times.
OF - Babe (The Bambino) Ruth of North Dallas who for the week batted .421 (8-19) with three home runs, five RBI and seven runs scored.
