HARLEM NARROWS LEAD TO FIVE GAMES
Fremont's (30-16) winning streak reached 10 games, and their lead 8 games before Harlem (25-21) won 5 in a 
row, including a sweep at Hattiesburg and two wins over rival Fremont. The Furtraders lead is now at 5 games. 
Knights righthander Red Lucas upped his record to 8-1, while Fremont's outfielder Riggs Stephenson has hit 
.305 since coming over from Hattiesburg. Pawtucket (23-23) remain 7 games back, whereas Sahara (22-24) 
are 8 behind Fremont.
In the SouthEast Division, North Dallas (26-20) continues to hold off Montgomery (25-20) by the slimmest 
of margins. However, the 40 have run into a scrappy Hattiesburg (15-31) club, who ended a ten-game skid 
with consecutive victories over division-leading North Dallas. St Louis (17-28) has shown some fire as 
of late, winning 4 of their last five games. 





PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Babe Ruth
Player of the week for (May 15th – May 21st) is OF Babe (The Bambino) Ruth of North Dallas. This new 
addition for North Dallas led the league in Home Runs and Runs Batted In for the week. He batted .357 
(10-28) with three home runs, one double, knocked in nine runs and scored six times himself with a 
slugging percentage of .714. The Bambino is on a current five game-hitting streak and has hit a home 
run in back to back games to finish out the week. When The Babe was reached for comment regarding his 
achievement he responded by saying "I thought we where having Salisbury steak! Where's the Salisbury steak?!
