KNIGHTS CLINCH TIE; NORTH DALLAS GAINS GROUND ON BURNS

The Harlem Knights (89-51) have clinched a tie, and will most likely become the first team in DBS history to repeat winning the pennant. The Sahara Jihad (76-65) have lost 6 in a row, and 15 of their last 16. Pawtucket sits at 61-76, and Fremont is 57-85.
In the SouthEast Division, Montgomery (76-66) all but put away Hattiesburg (67-71), who have fallen to 7 games back and pretty much are out of it. But watch out for the North Dallas 40 (72-72), who have climbed back to the .500 mark and are only 5 games back. St Louis (63-75) are just winding out the string, possibly joining the 1929 Jihad and the 1930 Dutchmen in falling from first to last in consecutive seasons.
