As we head into the final month of play in 1930, the St. Louis Bubonic Plague have fallen 
victim to injury.
Reigning MVP Al Simmons, currently leading the DBS with 39 home runs, fractured his wrist 
after being hit by a pitch in the fourth inning of the
Plague's 9 to 5 loss to the Harlem Knights. If the Plague succeed in winning the DBS 
Southeast division title, Simmons may be ready to play in the World Series.
