The management for the Harlem Knights would like to
announce at this time there is no truth to the rumor
that outfielder Chuck Klein has taken any
performance-enhancing substances. At no time in his
life has he taken steroids, Creatine or Andro.

"The only thing I use to improve my performance is a
fork and knife," says Klein, "and I don't think it
would hurt my detractors to do the same."

In response to this, Pawtucket manager Honus Wagner
said, "Well, he must be takin' SOMETHIN'!!"

Wagner has seen Klein hit 7 doubles, a triple and
three home runs off of his staff in 9 games, of which
the Knights have won 7 of them.

When asked about the allegations, Klein's teammate Bob
O'Farrell replied, "That's a crock of hooey."
