Pat Caraway's mouth may have gotten him in trouble,
but his latest run-in may number his days as a member
of the Harlem Knights.

Caraway, who has a penchant for flapping his lips
without thinking, was involved in a shouting match
that ended up with him trying to choke manager Roger
Peckinpaugh.

Caraway got into a verbal confrontation with fellow
pitcher Alvin "General" Crowder over team attitude
following the teams 4-1 loss in Game 6 of the World
Series. When Peckinpaugh stepped in, Caraway attacked
the manager, grabbing him by the throat until other
players could separate them.

"Peck called him a fat-headed butt pirate, and hell
broke loose," said Babe Ruth, the Knights
rightfielder. "Maybe that was the wrong thing to say,
but Caraway hasn't been afraid to throw barb in the
war of the words. I guess this one touched too close
to home."

Crowder commented afterwards, "I don't know where that
little brat gets off, coming at me like that. He is a
busher with a busher mentality."

Neither Peckinpaugh or Caraway could be reached for comment.
