Chaplain reported that the Knights will be leading stations on March 15 and will be providing the Lenten meal. He reminded us of Holy Week services and that there is a penance service at the church following our blood drive on March 21. “Cleanse your body by giving blood, and cleanse your soul by going to confession.”
Treasurer reported a balance of $1660.65. Financial Secretary read receipts of 18.45 for supplies and 1.75 per capita. We have 9 members who are delinquent on dues and Financial Secretary will get a second letter out this week.

They are: Church—Stations of the Cross and Lenten meal; Community—Rake up Boise with Boy Scout Troop 7; Family—games at the parish picnic; Council—the council web page; and Youth—Easter egg hunt. Fr. Dennis needs help ushering on Easter morning mass.
District Deputy 4 is asking each council to donate a raffle item for state convention. Walt will go to O’Reilly’s and purchase an item ($45) and will submit it for approval at next meeting. DD4 also needs 6 volunteers to cater the women’s lunch at our parish annex on April 20 and is looking for volunteers to run the hospitality room. He expects Bishop Daly to be the Supreme representative and speak at Saturday dinner. Dinner tickets will be $25 per plate for Friday and Saturday nights. There is a 4th degree on March 16th, place was not known. Ted Arellano will be our new field agent and is working the Boise area with Bruce Wilson.
GUEST SPEAKERS:
District Deputy (see above)
GOOD OF THE ORDER:
Ross Borden, a state legislative liaison, updated us on Noah’s law, which passed the Senate this past week. Noah’s law, if passed, will make it a felony in the State of Idaho to cause injury to a woman that results in the death of her unborn child. This bill is an important step in the recognition of the rights of the unborn. There is a competing bill, sponsored by Planned Parenthood that apparently failed to pass the House committee.
Mary Chase died, funeral on Monday. Nancy Miller, Louise’s niece died. Remember their families in your prayers.
Father Dennis thanked us for DDP donations and led us in the closing prayer.
