Q2MP4 Screnshots

This map pack is an addon for both Quake2 mission packs, which are of course required.

The story...
TCM Intel Brief
--------------------------

Operation Alien Overlord was extremely successful. In just a few years, we managed to conquer most of the Strogg homeworld. Only a scattering of Strogg controlled territory was left, which we have no real reason to capture, because the Strogg no longer pose a significant threat.

Five years later, almost out of nowhere, a new threat suddenly emerged. Hundreds of Strogg pods crash landed on both Earth and Stroggos, their hideous occupants climbing out to wreak their attrocious deeds before the pods had even begun to cool. Where had they come from?

After extensive searching of Strogg computer databases in thousands of captured installations, TCM intel has found references to an enormous Strogg space colony, ten times more populous than their homeworld. However, the records give no mention of its location.

We have, however, found records that allude to a recent digital star chart entombed with the previous Makron (before we invaded). This star chart is sure to contain the location of the colony.

The Makron is entombed in the ancient Strogg necropolis, which is under Strogg control and is heavily fortified, being impregnable from the ground and having massive air defences. An open assault is out of question, so a clandestine operation is required.

Your mission is to infiltrate a nearby Strogg airbase, and stowaway aboard a cargo ship headed to the necropolis. Once inside the necropolis, break into the Makron's tomb, steal the star chart, and get out of there alive.

You will be airlifted and dropped off in a small installation on the outskirts of the airbase, where the Strogg presence should be light. You should be able to break in without facing too much resistance.

Good luck.
