1.0 Drivers

Any driver that has a headset is welcome to try out for league play. To be allowed into an official league you must qualify.

1.1 Teams

Two drivers can combine together to form a team.  Both Drivers must drive the same make and model of car.  Drivers can work together to draft each other but are not allowed to block other drivers.

* When a team qualifies FMEC will average both of the Drivers best laps and that will place them.

1.2 Driver etiquette

Driver will drive with courtesy and respect for fellow racers.  Accidents are expected in racing but any sign of deliberate wrecking and the driver will be penalized.

* Headset needed for Moderator communication.

A. Damage

Damage will be turned on full simulation making the race much more realistic.  If a Driver causes a wreck rendering a car undrivable in an unsportsmanlike like way then that driver must pit with the handicapped car. In a question of fault the final decision will be that of the Moderator.

B. Offs

If a driver has an off but can maintain their speed no action will be taken. But in the case of an off where a driver must reenter the track at a slower speed; driver must make himself known to other drivers before entering the track.

C. Pits

On some tracks exiting the pits can cause a problem due to slower traffic entering the track.  So you must make yourself known when you are exiting the pits.

D. Penalties

In the case a driver causes a wreck due to passing or being passed, that evolves enough damage to alter the performance of another drivers car in such a way that the driver must pit, the afor mentioned driver must follow the penalization schedule.

    1st offense pit roll threw

2nd offense pit roll threw and a "warning"

3rd offense pit roll threw and an "official warning"

    4th offense driver must DNF

4 official warnings or 2 DNF's and the Driver will be removed from the     series.

Any racing will have mistakes but when a person is caught maliciously causing a problem they will be banned from FMCE play.

2.0 Group Qualifying

Qualifying will be done before the first race of the season. Members that wish to race in the series will be given at least one weeks notice as to which track the qualification will take place on. Qualifications will be run with no damage so that drivers can be allowed to get all laps with no handicap.

Qualifications will take place in the following manner. All drivers will start 5 lap race with brakes on and no gas. The first driver on the inside of turn one will start first. Then 5-15 seconds later determined by the track size the driver on the outside will start. This will be repeated until all drivers are running. After driver gets 3 hot laps you will slow down so that trailing drivers can catch up so first driver only gets 3 hot laps.

This rule will only be followed in the case more drivers want to race in a series then slots available.

* A headset will be necessary to communicate with the Moderator
