Title: Doctor Who: Revelation of the Daleks/Remembrance of the Daleks

Director(s): Graeme Harper/Andrew Morgan

Summary: (Revelation) Davros, on the planet of the dead Necros appoints himself Great Healer and creates a new army of Daleks. (Remembrance) Davros's new Daleks come into conflict with the Skaro Daleks and a battle for time takes place on 1963 Earth.

Plot: (Revelation) The Doctor (Colin Baker) and Peri (Nicole Bryant) land on the planet Necros where they are obsessed with funerals. The Doctor is here for the ceremony of his old friend Arthur Stengos. What the Doctor doesn't realise is that Stengos has been genetically mutated and forced to live as a Dalek. The Prime Minister of the planet calls in two assassins to kill the "Great Healer" in actuality he is Davros the mad scientist who created the Daleks in the first place, using the cryogenically frozen Necros inhabitants he genetically mutates them to create a new Dalek army however when word spreads the Imperial Daleks (the original Daleks from Skaro who are grey coloured while "renegade" Daleks are gold/white) the two assassins fail to kill Davros who had setup a decoy to lure everyone into a trap, before Davros can kill anyone however the Doctor cuts his only working hand off and the Imperial Daleks arrest Davros.

Good Points: Good effects for Dr Who, well written story, great acting, some really chilling scenes like the transparent Dalek case with the person's face inside and the realisation that the "food" that the planet creates is left-over body parts.

Bad Points: That damn "American" DJ, the Doctor given little to do.

Plot: (Remembrance) The Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and Ace (Sophie Aldred) land on Earth, 1963 to pick up a device called the Hand of Omega to prevent it falling into the hands of two warring Dalek factions the original Skaro Daleks (grey) and the Davros renegades (white/gold) the Doctor visits Totter's Yard (where the show started way back in 1963) and discovers a group of soldiers trying to destroy a Dalek hiding in a shed, the Doctor destroys it with Nitro-9 and explains to the Colonel "it's not remotely human". The Doctor attempts to stop the "wrong" group of Daleks from getting the Hand, eventually the Imperial Daleks show up on Earth and an all-out war begins between the Imperial Daleks, Renegade Daleks and Earth Soldiers. Eventually the Renegade Daleks get hold of the Hand and Davros (who is hiding in the Emperor Dalek Case) attempts to activate the Hand but the Doctor has it rigged so as soon as Davros activates it the sun of Skaro goes supernova and destroys Skaro along with it putting an end to the Daleks. Before Davros's ship explodes however he escapes.

Good Points: More good effects, more great acting, well written continuation of Revelation of the Daleks, great effects like the Transmat Beams, Dalek Weapons (the Special Weapons Dalek was awesome) and the Dalek Scoutship was a full size affair not a miniature oh and the greatest ever, the Dalek floating up the staircase to the Doctor's horror.

Bad Points: If I find any I'll tell you.

Rating: (Revelation) 8/10 (Remembrance) 9/10
