| Knight Rider Legends �Legend of the Knight� by Andrew Moore Based on the original Knight Rider series � 1982-1986 by Glen A. Larson Fade in: House on the shore ext. Day. The house is your typical bachelor beach house, trashed. In the drive way is a blue �57 Chevy Impala and we can make out a figure in a hammock on the front porch. We zoom in we see that it�s Michael Knight. He is unshaven and his hair is long. A girl, 15 maybe 16 comes running up to the porch. she starts shaking Michael. Michael This better be good, Kristi. Kristi It�s mom, she needs you to fix the washing machine (beat) again. Michael (getting out of the hammock) All right, get in the car. Cut to car int. Day. Michael opens the door and climbs in Kristi climbs in to the passenger seat. Michael turns the key but the engine won�t turn over. Michael (to himself) KITT, you had to drive it over the pier didn�t you? Kristi What? engine starts. Michael Nothing.(beat) Nothing at all. Cut to street ext. day. The car goes down the street and stops at an apartment complex. Michael and Kristi get out of the car and head into the building. Cut to elevator int. day. A muzak version of The Beverly Hillbillies by Earl Hagen plays. Kristi is behind Michael. The Elevator stops and they both get out. Cut to Hallway int. day. It�s a typical drab apartment hallway with your brown shag carpet and olive green walls. Michael continues on as if he has done this a number of times. He stops at door 212 and Kristi lets him in. He walks in and there is water all over the floor. Suds are spewing out of the Washing machine. A woman in her early 30�s wearing denim shorts and a tanktop is sitting in a chair in the kitchen/dining room. She�s wet and her long hair is matted down. She looks Michael as he comes in. Karen Don�t say a word. Michael smiles at her and begins to works on the washing machine. Michael Have you ever thought of getting a new washing machine? Karen Yeah, but ever since the divorce Cliff left me with nothing. Karen gets up and walks to te washing machine Karen and besides it gives me an excuse to see you every now and then. Michael gets out from behind the washing machine and the suds die down. The machine starts to works as though nothing was ever wrong with it. Michael (Dusts himself off) Well, that oughtta take care of that. (beat) Look, I�m sorry, if I had the money myself I�d buy you a washing machine. Karen Don�t worry about it Michael. You�ve been better company than that low life ex-husband of mine. Karen has a look of sadness on he face. Michael Sorry about Cliff. Karen Why? He left on his own (beat) Besides I think that Kristi looks up to you like the father she never had. Michael smiles and kisses Karen on the cheek. Michael I�ll be back later to check on the washing machine. Later Karen. Michael heads out the door and Karen sighs. Cut to building ext. day Michael heads to the curb to cross the street to get to his car he is intercepted by Kristi. Kristi Michael! Hey Michael. Can I get a ride to the store? Michael Yeah sure let�s go. They start to cross the street but a black 1982 Pontiac Trans Am blares by nearly running over Michael and Kristi. Flashback: First episode of Knight Rider where Michael is first introduced to KITT. INSIDE THE TRANS AM (SHOT) Michael sits staring at the futuristic panel. DEVON Welcome aboard the Knight 2000. MICHAEL Thank you. What is all this? It looks like Darth Vadar's bathroom. INSIDE THE TRANS AM MICHAEL One hundred seventy-one miles to Millston, the heart of Silicon Valley. Might as well put on some music. (looking at the Knight 2000's complex dash) With all these stupid gadgets, you'd think they'd give you a radio. Suddenly a voice resembling the voice of Hal, the computer in 2001, begins a low drone. K.I.T.T. What would you like to hear? A little Beethoven? The car suddenly screeches to a halt. MICHAEL What the hell was that? Michael scans the dash. CLOSE ON A FLASHING LIGHT marked: K.I.T.T. MICHAEL (SHOT) pushes the light. The voice resumes. K.I.T.T. Possibly, you'd prefer Chopin. MICHAEL Hell, no. I want to know who you are and how you're listening in. K.I.T.T. There's no reason for increased volume. I am scanning your interrogatives quite satifac- torily. I am the voice of the Knight Industries 2000's micro- processor. K.I.T.T. for easy reference. KITT if you prefer. end flashback Kristi Michael, Are you okay? Michael (shakes head) Yeah, I�m fine Cut to: Desert ext. noon. A Lamborghini races though the desert with a cloud of dust chasing after it. The object is revealed to be KIFT. Cut to KIFT int. day. Shawn McCormick is behind the wheel. KITT Shawn, he�s getting away. Shawn I know KITT. Can we use turbo boost? KITT I�m afraid not. We lost a lot of our functions when flew off that cliff. Shawn Sue me. How was I supposed to know he was gonna suddenly turn? KITT I tried to warn you. Cut to KIFT ext. day. The car gains speed. Cut to desert ext. day. The Lamborghini comes to a stop at the edge of a cliff. Two men jump out of the car and act as though they are going to surrender. Cut to KIFT INT. day. We�re looking through the windshield and we see the men holding their arms in the air signaling their surrender. Shawn gets out of the car and grabs one of them Shawn Thought you could get away with it, huh tough guy? Shawn throws the man in the back of KIFT CUT to KIFT INT. DAY. close up on voice box. KITT Shawn, LOOK OUT! Cut to man 2: he is holding a gun he aims it at Shawn. Man 2 Shame too. I thought you were kind of cute. He pulls the trigger and Shawn falls to the ground. KITT NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Suddenly KIFT explodes and pieces start flying every where. Man 2 gets back into the Lamborghini and drives away. Close up on KNIGHT license plate that is bent. In the B.G. we see a cloud of dust left by the Lamborghini. Commercial break: Fade in: Building ext. day. Caption: Foundation for Law And Government. Sheila (V.O.) (With an English accent) I don�t believe it... Cut to: FLAG int. day: It�s a highly decorated office. On the wall is a poster for Smokey and The Bandit, A large swordfish, a picture of Michael Knight and K.I.T.T., a shelf with an assortment of diecast model cars, and some African mask. The desk is covered in papers and files. At the desk is an attractive young lady who slams one more file on the desk leveled: Knight 6000: CONFIDENTIAL. Sheila (cont.) ... those asses on the board discontinued my funding in the Knight Industries Six Thousand. If only Uncle Devon were still alive. Close up of picture on the desk. It is a picture of the late Devon Miles. Harrison Well, they saw no real reason to scrap the Knight Industries Four Thousand. I mean, he�s been running better since Michael Knight installed the Series 2000 in 4000�s memory banks. Sheila That�s the point. KITT�s an old program. Two men walk into the office. employee 1 Agent McCormick is dead... (beat) ... and the series 4000 is destroyed. All eyes turn to Sheila. Cut to: conference room int. Day. A group of people are gathered around a large table. Sheila is giving the presentation. On a large computer screen we see images of a black Hummer H2 with a scanner bar like that of KITT�s with the exception that it is blue. Sheila About fifteen minutes ago we received word that the Knight 4000 was destroyed and Agent Shawn McCormick was killed in the line of duty. (hands out folders) I believe that for this Foundation to survive we must begin construction of the Knight 6000 immediately. Jennifer Have you thought of other alternatives? Sheila Why do you ask that Ms. Knight? Jennifer Ms. Miles, I�m afraid that Knight Industries will not be able to afford construction of the Knight 6000 and the Foundation for Law And Government has less money than us. I�m sorry but we cannot give you a grant. Sheila So are you saying that you�d rather see your father�s dream destroyed than help us. Jennifer I�m saying I would rather this company survive. Sheila I see. (to all) Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your time. Exit everyone but Sheila, Harrison, and Jennifer. Jennifer gets up and starts to leave. Sheila stops her. Sheila Excuse me, Ms. Knight, but may I ask what you would have me do to save the Foundation? Jennifer I would call the one person who could help us, the one man who next to your uncle knew how to run this place. Sheila (Sighs) Get me the registry Harrison Why? The remains of the former KIFT are strewn out on a worktable. Sheila I�m sorry, Michael. Michael (picks up circuit) I guess I should get to work. Sheila Is there anything I can do? Michael Yeah as a matter of fact I need you to look somebody up for me. Cut to: Desert Ext. day a man dressed in a suit gives the man from earlier a big gun. We cannot see who it is but it sounds a lot like Michael. Garthe Now this gun (points to barrel) fires heat seeking bullets. Try it out. The man holding the gun, Vince, aims at a moving truck. He pulls the trigger and the truck explodes. Vince I�ll take it. Man That�s good but first I want you to do a little something for me. Cut to: bank int. day. Five men carrying the guns from earlier and wearing ski masks come into the bank demanding the money. A frightened clerk hands them the money and they leave. Cut to van int. day. Vince takes off his mask and looks through the bag of money. Vince Easy as cupcakes. Cut to FLAG H.Q. int. day. Sheila and Harrison are walking to the elevators. Harrison Ten minutes ago, the Bank of America on 34th street was robbed by a group of men carrying big guns. Sheila and nine minutes ago we could have had KIFT in full pursuit and had them in custody five minutes ago. My life is becoming Hell. Harrison (Handing Sheila a paper) Well somebody thinks you�re doing a good job. Sheila What�s this? Harrison You�ve been promoted. Russ Maddock quit and Jennifer Knight is needs to replace him. They want you to be the head of all of Knight Industries. Sheila (speechless) Well, who�s going to take my place as head of FLAG? Harrison (Shrugs) That�s up to you. exit Harrison leaving a stunned Sheila. Cut to: FLAG garage. Michael is still at work at the table. KITT�s scanner bar has been repaired save for a few of the lights do not work. Sheila walks in. Michael Well, I�ve gotten the scanner to work partially. But I don�t think I can�t restore KITT�s initial programing and if I could I don�t even know if he would have the same voice. Sheila (Handing him a floppy) Here�s a back up. Everything from the time he was built to ... Michael (Accepting the disk) Thanks. What�s wrong? Sheila I�m no longer in charge of FLAG. Michael (Stunned) Well then who is? Sheila I was hoping you would take the job. I�ve been put in charge of all of the Knight Foundation. Michael Look I�m flattered that you thought of me but... Sheila But nothing. You�re the only one that�s truly qualified to take the job.(beat) Michael Did you find her. Sheila We looked everywhere but we couldn�t find her. Close up: KITT�s scanner bar. It goes by once and makes an electric whirring sound. Michael and Sheila look at it. KITT M-M-M-Michael. Is that you. Michael It�s me buddy. KITT (beat) You look like carp. Michael You mean crap, and coming from you I�ll take that as a compliment. KITT That�s what I said, carp. Sheila Looks like we need to fix your voice circuits. Michael Yeah. Listen you got a car that we can put him in? I�m certainly not putting him in my Chevy again. Sheila Yeah, come to think of it there is. KITT It�s not-t-t a Pinto is it. Sheila No, follow me. Michael and Sheila walk toward the back of the garage leaving KITT behind. KITT (beat) O-Okay (beat) I�ll-I�ll j-j-j-just stay be-h-h-h-hind and guard the p-p-place. Cut to FLAG garage rear. int. day. Michael and Sheila walk up to something covered by a tarp. All we can tell is that it is some type car. Sheila This was supposed to be the Knight Industries Three Thousand but they ran out of funding and Maddock was in a hurry to build the Knight 4000 that they forgot about it. Michael continues to circle the tarp covered car examining it Michael Well at least he didn�t dismantle this. Sheila (cont.) It has all the features as the Series 2000 but only a few of the series 4000. It has a few things different though such as nitrous injection and a digging mode that allows it to go underground. Michael It�ll have to do. Michael throws the tarp off the car and the screen goes dark. Cut to: Desert ext. day. The van from the bank robbery pulls up to the man from earlier. We still can�t see who it is because we are still behind him. The van comes to a stop and the men get out. Vince comes up to the man holding the gun and a bag of money. He hands the man the bag of money. Vince It was easy as cake. Garthe Pie you moron easy as pie. Vince Yeah what ever. Where�s my share Garthe In good time my friend. I have one more job for you to do. The man hands Vince a photo. Garthe (Cont.) Kill this man. close up: photo. It�s a photograph of Michael Knight. (Commercial break) Fade in.: street ext. day. A black 1999 Trans-am roars down the street. Close up: red scanner bar. The scanner bar goes back and forth a few times. Cut to: KITT int. day. Close up: Dash. the dash is a combination of the dash from the second and third season of the original show and of KIFT�s dash. The steering wheel is an actual steering wheel instead of the classic airplane yoke style steering wheel. There is also a plasma touch screen thus elimnating a lot of the buttons and aloowing for more space. The lights flash and the speedometer reads 55 Mph. We see that the car is in normal mode. Cut to Michael in the driver seat. KITT Michael you have no idea what it was like sitting, immobile, on that table for the past week. Michael Yeah well thank me later. KITT Michael, Are you okay? Michael I�ve got other things on my mind. KITT such as? Michael Sheila wants me to be head of FLAG. KITT Yes, well, I�ve had thing on my mind as well. Michael Such as? KITT Shawn. (Beat) (in a low voice) and revenge. Michael How much longer until we�re at the bank? KITT About another three or so minutes, but Michael, there appears to be some trouble in that convenience store. Cut to: Convenience store ext. day. A young man runs out of the store carrying a bag in his hand. Cut to: KITT int. day. Michael KITT, take over. I�ll go after him on foot. KITT Will do Michael. Cut to KITT ext. day. Michael gets out of the car and KITT drives. Michael chases after the young man and into an Alley: There is graffiti on the walls and there are a lot of obstacles in the young man�s way. He comes to a dead end and Michael pins the young man to the wall. Andrew Hey, get off me. Michael backs off. He sees the young man�s face and is shocked. The face looks familiar to Michael. Michael (Confused) Who are you? Andrew Andrew Barstow. Who are you? Some sort of cop? Michael I saw you rob that store and just thought... Andrew (Brushes himself off) Oh just a good Samaritan, huh? (beat) Not many of your kind around. Michael Yeah I know. Too bad. Andrew I guess. Look if you�re not a cop then let me go. Michael lets Andrew go and then steps back Exit Andrew. Michael stands alone in the ally.(beat) Enter KITT. KITT Who was that juvenile delinquent? Michael (lying) I don�t know, Buddy. (Commercial break) Cut to: FLAG garage int. day. KITT pulls into the garage and comes to a stop near the elevator. Michael exits the car and heads to the elevator. Cut to: elevator int. day. Michael isn�t the only one in the elevator. Harrison is also in the elevator. Harrison So I hear Sheila wants to make you head of FLAG. Michael Yeah, so? Harrison That job should have gone to me. But instead you had to come in and take it from me. Michael Well guess what, you might not have competition cause I told her "no". Harrison You don�t understand Sheila. She�s too much like her uncle. The elevator comes to a stop and Michael exits. Harrison glares at Michael. Sheila comes to Michael. Sheila (Hands Michael some papers in a folder) Here are those records you wanted. Why did you want them? Michael A hunch. Sheila Does this have anything to do with her? Michael thumbs through the papers ignoring Sheila�s question. Sheila So how�s KITT taking to his new body? Michael He likes it. Sheila Michael, I need to know if you�re going to take the job. Michael stops thumbing through the papers and walks off without saying a word. Cut to: Bank of America ext. day KITT pulls up to the front door and Michael gets out of the car. He stops in front of the car and kneels down. Michael KITT, gimme a scan of the area. close up: KITT�s scanner. KITT There seems to be some tire marks of a vehicle that took off in quite a hurry. By the looks of it I�d say a van. Michael Okay, buddy if you need me I�ll be in the bank. Keep me posted. KITT Don�t I always? Street Ext. The VAN pulls up to the bank. Vince and his cronies are in the van staking out the bank. Vince There he is. Let�s wait until he comes out. Henchman 1 Then what? Vince (Cocks gun) ...We do our job. Fade in Bank ext. later. Michael exits the bank and enters KITT. The VAN starts and moves down the street. The windows of the van roll down. A gun sticks out of the window. KITT Michael, look out! The gun starts to fire. Bullets shatter the back window. The van races off. Cut to: KITT int. night. Michael is unconscious. We see blood . He has been shot. Cut to: Dessert. Night. Wolves can be heard in the B.G. The van pulls up to the MAN. Vince and his goons climb out. Vince walks toward the MAN. Vince Mission accomplished. The camera pans up to the man�s face. It is revealed to be Garthe Knight. His face is that of Michael�s except for a goat tee and a scar on his forehead. Garthe and as promised, your reward. we hear a shot O.S. and Vince falls to the ground dead. Garthe and now there is but one Knight. cut to FLAG infirmary int. night. Michael is lying in bed Sheila is sitting next to him. Michael is still unconscious. He stirs. Michael (Mumbling) KITT. KITT are you there (Groans) Sheila places her hand on Michael�s head. Sheila (Whisper) Michael (beat) Michael, are you awake. Michael (awake) What happened? Sheila Drive by. A ricochet hit you in the leg and you got electrocuted when the bullet hit KITT. Michael Where�s KITT? Sheila In the garage getting a few bullet holes patched up. Michael Bullet holes? Sheila Don�t worry. The only reason for the bullet holes is that we missed a few spots when spraying the shell on. But he�ll be okay. Michael Who did it? Sheila KITT got the license number off the van. It�s registered to a Vince Bryce who works at home which is located here in town. Michael (Starts to get up) I gotta go after them. Sheila You�ve got to stay in bed for a few more days and even then you might not be able to walk correctly. Cut to: Apartment int. night. We are in the kitchen. At the table are Andrew Barstow and his mother, Bonnie, eating. Andrew isn�t eating his meal. In the B.G. the television is tuned to the news. It is a story about Michael�s shooting. The TV turns off. Bonnie (Concerned) Andrew, what�s wrong? Andrew Huh, what? Sorry, Mom, what�d you say? Bonnie Are you okay? Andrew It�s just that guy who got shot last night. Bonnie (body tenses up) What about him? Andrew Well he stopped me that day. Bonnie What�d he want? Andrew Well, he ... Cut to: apartment Int. day. the apartment a beautiful one. Bonnie is sitting in a chair reading a newspaper. There is a knock at the door. Bonnie gets up to answer the door. She answers the door. Michael is at the door. Michael takes off his sunglasses. Bonnie (Shocked) Michael! Bonnie faints. Andrew comes walking up with a coke in his hand and is wearing jeans and a Hawaiian shirt. Andrew looks down at his mother and then to Michael. Andrew Do you have that effect on all the ladies, Samaritan? Cut to KITT int. day. KITT is still in undercover mode. Michael is driving, Andrew is in the passenger seat, and Bonnie is in the back seats laying down. ZZ-top�s �Sharp Dressed Man� is playing on the radio. Andrew (Looking back at his mother) Can you teach me to do that? Michael To do what? Andrew Make Mom faint. Michael I can teach you more than that. Andrew (Sitting in normal position) I don�t even know you. All I know is that you tackled me in that alley and you got shot. Michael (Extending hand) Name�s Michael. Michael Knight. Cut to KITT�s Indicators. They light up one at a time just like in the original series. Cut to Andrew. He nods his head in satisfaction. He puts the car in gear and takes off. Cut to: street ext. Day. KITT roars down the street at high speeds. Andrew This is sweet. (Reading labels) Ski mode, Pursuit mode, Turbo boost. What�s all this? KITT As Michael would say, (Michael�s voice) Only one way to find out. Andrew. Well. Andrew presses pursuit mode and KITT takes off like a bullet. Cut to speedometer: It reads 121 and is still quickly climbing. Andrew then presses Ski mode and the car starts to ride on he side wheels. and squeezes between two semi trucks. Andrew then presses Turbo boost. The Car takes off into the air and jumps over an incoming 18-wheeler. The car then goes through a re-enforced concrete wall. Andrew quickly gets out to examine the damage. Apart from the dust KITT is perfectly intact. Andrew What the hell? There isn�t a scratch on you. How? KITT I am protected by a molecular bonded shell that allows me to survive anything possible. Except for maybe a nuclear blast but I�m not exactly all for testing that theory. Andrew Yeah, well we better get outta here before someone comes snooping around. Cut to: FLAG garage int. eve. KITT pulls into the garage and Andrew exits the car. Michael, Bonnie, and Sheila are waiting for him. Andrew pulls off a pair of sunglasses. Bonnie Andrew, what did you think you were doing stealing KITT like that... KITT Bonnie, you know as well as I do that I could have stopped him from taking me any time I wanted to. Andrew ...Besides I don�t steal cars and if I did, do you really think I�d come back with it. Andrew gets out of KITT. He sneaks to the front door. Cut to: front door ext. night. Andrew examines the door. He pulls out a stick of chewing gum and starts to chew on the gum. He folds the foil and wedges it into the door. He takes the gum out of his mouth and uses it to stick the foil to the door. He then takes out his drivers licensee and jimmies the door open. He waves over to Michael and then enters. He turns on a light and Michael enters, stops at the doorway and admires Andrew�s work. Andrew pulls out another piece of gum and starts to chew on it. Michael Where�d you learn to do that? Andrew A movie. Michael You�re just a regular MacGyver aren�t you? Andrew Hey I like that show. Michael Can we get back to business? Andrew (Opens door) Open says me. Andrew and Michael search around the house. Cut to closet int. night. Andrew opens the closet door and turns on a light. We see that it is Harrison. Cut to Apartment Int. night. there is another knock at the door. Karen opens the door and is surprised. Karen Cliff! Harrison Hello, Dear Harrison pulls out a gun. Kristi Daddy? Harrison Hello, Sweetheart. Everyone get in the car. Cut to: KITT int. night. Andrew is Driving and Michael is sitting in the passenger�s seat. Neither says a word. KITT I�m picking up a disturbance in Karen�s apartment. Andrew and Michael look at one another Andrew Let�s go, KITT. Close up: �Pursuit Mode� button. Andrew presses the Button. Cut to KITT ext. night. KITT does a 180 and races back the way they came. They got into a car and are heading east. Andrew Let�s go. Cut to apartment ext. night. Andrew and Michael jump into KITT and they take off. Cut to KITT int. night. We see that we are in Pursuit Mode and we�re looking through the windshield. We come up to a car. Cut to CAR. int. night. Harrison is behind the wheel. He looks up and sees KITT in his rear view mirror. Cut to CAR ext. night. The CAR starts to gain speed. KITT starts to close in. The CAR makes a sharp turn. KITT roars past. cut to KITT int. night. KITT Sorry. We lost him Andrew Damn! Cut to: Cell int. day. Karen and Kristi are sitting on a cot. We hear the sounds of someone unlocking the door. The girls stand up. The door opens and Garthe Knight walks in. Garthe So you�re the one that my brother has taking a liking to. (commercial break) Fade in: Flag garage int. day. KITT pulls slowly into a parking space. KITT�s engine stops and Andrew and Michael get out and sulk to the elevator. Andrew stops next to a car to tie his shoes. When he finishes he stops in his tracks when he sees the CAR. Andrew Dad, KITT, look at this. Michael (to KITT) Is this the car from last night? KITT (Beat) It is Michael, It has the same tread marks as the car that we chased last night. Andrew Whose car is this? Michael Harrison�s (beat) Cliff Harrison. Cut to office int. day. Sheila and Bonnie are sitting when Harrison walks into the office. Harrison Sorry I was late today. Sheila That�s okay. Everyone�s entitled to be late once. Cut to Elevator ext. day. The doors open and Andrew and Michael run out. Andrew stops an employee. Andrew Where�s Harrison? Harrison turns and sees Andrew and Michael running after him. He grabs Bonnie by the arm and drags her out of the office. cut to: office ext. day. people are screaming and running for there lives. Harrison throws an object at Michael. IT hits him in the leg that was wounded. Michael falls to the ground and Andrew stops. Harrison I didn�t want to do this. Andrew (Calm) Just let her go, Harrison. Harrison I can�t kid. You�re part of his plan now. Michael Who�s plan. Harrison You should really keep track of your family. Michael (Confused) What? But this is pretty interesting. According to his file he served in Africa in the seventies. Michael (interested) Yeah? Andrew Yeah, say�s here he was sent there in the peace corps. Sheila And according to this he and Vince Bryce were the soldiers that arrested Garthe. Michael Which means he was also working for Garthe when he was killed. Andrew Then we�d best get out to the desert. Michael Right. Michael starts to get up but winces in pain. He grabs the leg that was shot. Andrew notices this. Andrew Maybe you should stay here. She has an angry look on her face. She punches him in the face. Cut to: Gate ext. day. Garthe climbs into the Lamborghini and peels off. KITT is right behind him. cut to: Lamborghini int. day. Garthe looks in his Rear view mirror and sees KITT quickly catching up to him. He presses a button labeled NITRO. Cut to: Lamborghini ext. day. The Car takes off faster. cut to KITT: int. day. KITT Andrew. He�s got a nitrous oxide injection system. Andrew So do we. Close up: red button. Andrew presses the button. Cut to: KITT ext. day. KITT speeds up. the car passes the Lamborghini. KITT does a 180 at about 100 feet away. Andrew We have to end this now. KITT Try digging Mode. Close up: Digging mode button. Andrew presses the button Cut to: KITT ext. day. Sand starts shooting out of the back of KITT. The car starts moving underground. We follow a cloud of dust like the one from the Tremors movies. The car burst out of the ground after a few seconds. Cut to: desert ext. day. The Lamborghini continues traveling. It hits the trench dug by KITT and stops. Garthe gets out of the car and starts running. Cut to: KITT ext. day. Andrew gets out of the car and runs after Garthe. KITT continues on. Andrew catches up with Garthe. Garthe decks Andrew. Garthe keeps running. KITT chases Garthe. KITT knocks him down. KITT starts revving his engine. Enter Michael. Michael (Shouting) KITT, don�t do it. KITT He has to pay. Andrew He will pay. KITT What about Shawn? Michael You�ve already avenged her death by catching Garthe. Garthe Do I really have to lie here and listen to this? Andrew Yes. Andrew picks Garthe up and hand cuffs him.
