Here at the day of our graduation we are thinking of the rest of our lives. I believe I have found the three most important parts of what you need to get through life.
Love, can�t live with it can�t live without it. True romantic love can suck. Trusting someone with your heart and soul will almost always leave you heartbroken, but you have to recognize love in all the other people in your life. In your friends and family and even in the people you meet once in your life, but are somehow compelled to talk to. In this way love will help you to get through. All the hardships in your life will become easier because of the people in your life.
Compromise, gotta have it. It�ll get you through so much. Try to see the situation from the other person�s point of view. One day you may be in their situation and understand why they don�t see the situation as you do.
Forgiveness, yeah it�s hard, but if it wasn�t everyone would do it. No matter how hurt you are you have to forgive. Jesus said that we are to forgive those that hurt us �70 times 7" times. Not that you should be stupid about trusting them again, that only leaves you vulnerable to the aforementioned heartache. Even a baby won�t touch a hot iron twice.
Love, compromise and forgiveness will help you on your journey throughout life. They will be an asset in every area of your life. Work, further education, and all the other relationships you involve yourself in. That�s what life is about. The relationship you establish throughout it. Without relationships life is not worth living, it has no purpose. We would all be very lonely people if you didn�t have our friends to share time with.
Remember those you have come to love as we take this next step in our journey. Change is hard, but with each new turn in our journey, there are always new relationships waiting to make it more interesting.
