In the sample subdirectory there are all the files needed to create your first stereogram (an f-5 aircraft!!!).
This stereogram cannot be seen on the screen, but you must print it. Thus, you will have a perfect stereogram (screen stereograms are not accurate because the big width of each pixel limits the quality).

These files are:
f-5b2.bmp The bitmap that contains the morphology of the f-5 aircraft.
f-5sample.sdf The Stereogram Designer file for creating the stereogram.
f-5samplestereo1.bmp This is the resulted stereogram image. You can directly print it to see the stereogram.
However, in order to have a result when you print it, you must adjust its dimensions to be (211x141mm, or 8.3x5.55in).
River Sumida.bmp This bitmap will be used as the background image.
   Readme.txt The present help file.

**Read Help.txt in the main directory for creating correct stereograms.**

In order to see the example correctly do the following:

   - Open the f-5sample.sdf with Stereogram Designer.
   - You will see in the drawing panel two objects (rectangles).
   - Select the "f_5" object, either from the toolbar, or from the drawing panel by clicking on it.
   - Right click on the object. A menu shows up. Select "Set Morphology".
   - Press Find button to select the bitmap file which contains morphology data. Select "f-5b2.bmp". Do not alter the other values. They are correctly defined.
   - You are ready to render the stereogram. Keep in mind that this stereogram is intended for the printer and you cannot see it on the screen.
   - Press "Render/Make Stereogram" from the main menu, or from the toolbar.
   - A dialog appears for selecting background. This is very important. Select a bitmap image from file. Press Find and select "River Sumida.bmp".
   - Select "Fit bitmap width to eye distance...".
   - Press "Ok" to create the stereogram.
   - After a few seconds another window appears ("Stereogram Bitmaps") with the result. The result is a 24bit bmp image. Normally it should look like "f-5samplestereo1.bmp".
   - You are ready to print the image. Select "File/Print" from the main menu.
   - A print dialog appears. Adjust your printer properties to the best print quality, in order to have a good result.
   - You cannot change the dimensions of the stereogram image. if you do that, then you will not be able to see the stereogram.
   - After you do all these, you should see your first stereogram.

The procedure seems complicated. This is because the program has a lot of parameters. Explore it to adjust your stereograms to look like exactly as you like, either on screen or on paper.
