KHL5 INDUCTEES -------------- Rob Buisson Mr. Buisson was one of the original GMs of the KHL. He was the first GM of the Redscare. We was forced to give up his team due to personal reasons. He guided the Redscare to a 71-56-11 record in his two seasons as the Redscare GM. He took the team to the KHL Final in his last season. Petr Stastny Petr was big piece of the Vipers offense back in the first KHL Season. He was acquired from the Storm organization and went on to score 53 points in just 56 games. He was acquired as a team leader and a teacher for the Viper prospects. He was the co-winner of the Masterton Trophy in KHL1 for his dedication to the game of hockey. Dale Hawerchuk Dale was a main stay in the KHL for 4 seasons. In his last season he saw limited action. He finally had enough and decided to call it quits and retired. He finished his KHL career with 122 goals, 155 assists for 277 points. His best season was when he accumulated 75 points on the Redscare in KHL2. He finished his career as a member of the Winnipeg Norsemen. Jari Kurri Jari had a productive KHL career. He started his career as a member of the Bulldogs. He was dealt 5 times in his KHL days. His best season was in KHL2 when he scored 32 goals and amassed 57 points as a member of the Crosbie Road Vipers. He finished his career as a member of the Nordic Elks. His ice time deminished in his last 2 season only playing 51 games in the last 2 seasons. He retired and remained with the Elks organization. Mike McPhee Mike was not much of an offensive threat, but he was a "King" at team leadership. He spent 3 season in the KHL with the Icers and the Dreamers. The highlight of his career was being named to the KHL All-Star Game in KHL1. He retired from the KHL after the KHL3 season and is now currently a member of the Dreamers scouting department. ---------------------------------------------- KHL6 INDUCTEES Bobby Thevenot Mr. Thevenot was also one of the orginal GMs in the KHL. He was the first GM of the Vicksburg Dynamo. But like Mr. Buisson, he was forced to leave his position due to personal obligations. Although his success was limited, he was a devoted GM and tried his darnest to build a winner. While in the KHL, Mr. Thevenot accumulated a record of 79-120-23 record. Larry Murphy Larry was a team leader. In his 5 year KHL career, Larry showed up to play every night. But in a league of youth, his services deminished and finally decided to call it quits late in the KHL6 season after spending the entire season on the farm. He spent his last days of the KHL with the Reapers organization. He accumulated a total 36 goals and 161 assists during his career. ---------------------------------------------- KHL7 INDUCTEES Grant Fuhr Grant had a good career in the KHL. He was traded 4 times in KHL1, and found a home with the Crosbie Road Vipers. In the next two seasons Grant would be the number one goalie with the Vipers. The highlight of those years, was being named to the All-Star Team in KHL2. After the KHL2 season, the Growlers, an expansion team, was so impressed with his play, they drafted him with their first selection in the expansion draft. After 3 seasons with the Growlers, Grant decided to hang them up. Grant finished with a career record of 63-84-23 Denis Savard Denis' career in the KHL was a great one. A early trade to the St. John's Supra got his career started. In that 1st year, Denis co-won the Masterton Trophy for Dedication to the league. He was a contributing member of the 1st KHL Champions. For four of the six years in the KHL, Denis was a 20 goal scorer and knotted 31 in KHL2. He was claimed by the Squids in the KHL2 Expansion Draft. After jumping to a couple of teams and then being claimed on Waivers, Denis' ice time deminished. He called it quits after the KHL6 season. He finished with 125 goals, 181 assists for 306 points. Joe Mullen Joe is the first American Born player to be inducted into the KHL Hall of Fame. Joe spent 5 seasons in the KHL. He was named to the All-Star Team twice in those 5 seasons (KHL1, KHL4). He averaged 30 goals a year and tallied 52 in the KHL5 season. No awards ever came Joe's way, but he was the heart and soul of every team he played for. Joe's career totals included 154 goals and 109 assists for 263 points in 378 games. ---------------------------------------------- KHL8 INDUCTESS Kevin Lowe Kevin was a team leader. Kevin played every game like it was for the KHL Campionship. He gave his heart and soul in every game. He always stressed defense and this became one of the reason why he turned to coaching. He now coaches the Blast Farm Team. He was a mainstay on the blue line for 4 seasons. His career totals included 22 goals and 82 assists. Rick Tocchet Rick defined toughness. A constant 20 goal scorer, Rick achieved most of his success from griity, hard work. He gave 110% every night. But with the youth movement, Rick's career winded down. After a successful 25 goal campaign in KHL6, Rick decided he'd had enough. After 6 seasons in the KHL, Rick retired. He finished the KHL6 season in fine fashion with 59 points bringing his career totals to 158 goals and 178 assists. John Vanbiesbrouck John was a work horse. He played back to back 70 games seasons. His 6 year career in the KHL was an exciting one. It was highlighted by being named to the KHL2 All-Star team. He was bumped from team to team and finally decided that he'd had enough and retired after 6 seasons. His last few seasons was spent riding the pine for the Endless. It was not the life that John wanted.
